The entire experience lived up to every beautiful picture on the website! Our tent was comfortable and well designed, with thoughtful touches in terms of bath products and coffee. Our dinner was lovely - we appreciated the menu variety and the thoughtful use of sustainable dinnerware. The games available at the reception were a huge hit with our three boys, as were the s'mores! The stars overnight were extraordinary, especially with the option on a cold night to view them from our skylight and the patio doors. The sunrise over the meadow was exquisite. The box lunches we purchased were perfect to take along with us to the Grand Canyon. And, to top it all off, we saw a giant elk herd run across the field on our way out of Backland. Thank you for a truly memorable and delightful experience!

We recently stayed at Backland Glamping, and it was an unforgettable experience! The tents were incredibly nice and clean, providing the perfect balance of luxury and a connection with nature. The sky view at night was absolutely amazing, with stars twinkling brighter than I’ve ever seen before.

The lobby was warm and welcoming, and breakfast was delicious and satisfying. The location itself is perfect for anyone looking for a serene getaway from the busy world. It’s peaceful, quiet, and surrounded by beautiful natural scenery.

I highly recommend Backland for anyone who wants a relaxing and unique glamping experience!

We had such an amazing trip! The glamping grounds are beautiful and our “tent” was so beautifully set up. Backland has so many amenities for guests and especially families. It’s quiet and secluded which we really enjoyed. You can tell ownership really put a lot of thought into this space because everything made sense from the big details to the smallest details. We enjoyed dinner there and our food was amazing as well as the staff! Tip: Make sure to wake up early to watch the sunrise from your room, it’s breathtaking!

We’ll definitely be back!

Stayed for a couple of nights and we had a great visit. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. We explored away from the cabin mostly. In the future, we would plan a day to hang out at the resort. We only hung out in the early morning or late evening, and those times were so peaceful! Smores were dun! Dinner was convenient and delicious! Can't wait to go back! We have a whole new itinerary in mind 😉 this is the ONLY way to camp when you don't want to take your whole house with you!

We had a fabulous time Glamping. The staff was was wonderful and accommodating. Our Bernese Mountain dog loved it! The rooms were spacious, the beds were very comfortable and the grounds had plenty to do and places to explore. This is a great place for a romantic getaway or even a family reunion! We will be back!

We took a fall break getaway to Backland and it was a great choice. The atmosphere was beautiful, star gazing was incredible. Many activities are available on site. We were fortunate to see elk roam through and a bald eagle. The town of Williams is a short drive away to explore. The only negatives were that the pillows were flimsy but the bed was great. We made a reservation for dinner and waited 90 minutes for our food. Thankfully the food was worth the wait but it would have been nice to know the delay in receiving our food especially with kids in tow! We were accidentally charged someone else’s lobby purchase and a food credit was not applied despite us reminding them but the staff was apologetic and corrected the mistake quickly. Chase was fantastic. He has a great personality and makes it a point to connect with guests. We really appreciated him giving us tips on the area and showing us the stars and Saturn on their telescope. He really enhanced our experience. Overall, we would recommend Backland.

Took my family of 3 for 3 nights! It was great. My 6 year old son absolutely loved the place. He loved eating smores from their kits and the activities they had there. All the employees are so nice and helpful! Chase is absolutely great as all the reviews state. Took my Corolla and was able to navigate through their dirt path to Backland. Favorite part was the sky view. Absolutely loved seeing the night sky filled with stars as we laid in bed.
