My husband and I spent one night here between Christmas and New Year’s Eve 2012, just to take a quick road trip from PHX and see some snow. ||This BnB is very comfortable; the accommodations private. Our upstairs room was quite spacious and simply decorated. The adjoining (but completely private) bathroom was clean, large and stocked with the basic toiletries plus. The house itself is very comfortable though we did not spend much time in the common area except for breakfast. ||The breakfast was superb (please know I don’t use that word in normal language but this fits). We were served an eggs benedict style dish that was prepared perfectly. While initially gracious enough to offer us time to dine alone, the hostess was kind enough to sit with us while we peppered her with questions about the history of the BnB, her family, travels and more. She was very kind, interesting and patient as she shared her personal background and experiences with us.||The location is easily within walking distance of the downtown Flagstaff area, even in the winter. My husband and I both completely enjoyed our experience and if ever in the area again, will not hesitate to stay here. If you are looking for gracious, clean, comfortable accommodations, this is the place for you.

Due to travel problems (read as never depend on Amtrak to get you anywhere on time), our stay here was shortened to one night. Raquel, the owner, was sympathetic to our problems and even picked us up at 11pm from the train station. The bed and breakfast is very attractive and well maintained. Breakfast was nothing short of gourmet. Raquel made suggestions so we could rearrange our travel plans and thanks to her advice and guidance, we were able to put together a new and enjoyable itinerary. You would never get this level of caring at a chain hotel. What started as a travel disaster actually became a great start to our trip from Flagstaff to Sedona to Grand Canyon. Highly recommended......just wish we could have stayed longer to truly enjoy all that the venue and nearby downtown area had to offer. Many thanks, Raquel .

We stayed here before & after our three-week rafting trip down through the Grand. They were very accommodating. We were able to leave our car for a small fee. They have good security and cameras, so we felt safe with them. The hot breakfast is scrambled eggs, sausage, and potatoes. It was also good. Their coffee could use an upgrade but there is a Starbucks in Fryes, next door!

We're retired and have travelled widely on business and pleasure for very many years. This is the most enjoyable stay ever. Nothing is too much trouble for Raquel and her daughter Raquel. It's like staying with relatives. The ones you like. Breakfasts were amazing, and nothing was too much trouble. It was great sitting round the dining table with other guests and sharing amusing stories, just like being at home. We walked 'downtown' a couple of evenings and ate locally and had great dining experiences. We bumped into Raquel (Snr.) accidently and she joined us for a drink while we waited for our Amtrak connection. We both felt we had made a true friend. As 'oldies' the closeness to Route 66 was a benefit: three minutes walk! Flagstaff is a brilliant town. Full of microbreweries and a vibrant evening buzz. It's not rowdy as some reviewers have said, Must sees from Flagstaff; Grand Canyon, Sunset Crater, Meteor Crater and Monument Valley. The Lowell Observatory has a stunning view of Flagstaff from one of the car lay-bys. The 100-year old Weatherford Hotel is a great location for food and drinks, on the first floor veranda. p.s. The Hotel offers a choice of over 20 craft beers!

At the last minute we decided to make a getaway from the Phoenix heat and were fortunate to find the Aspen Inn B&B. Our room was large, light, and clean. The location was perfect, just the right distance from downtown--easy walk but a couple of blocks from the noise. We missed the trains, I guess they don't pass through at night anymore. Raquel was a very gracious hostess, showed us the room and made sure it was to our liking before we checked in. She asked what time we liked breakfast and it was ready for us, fresh, delicious breakfast. Really enjoyed chatting with other guests as we ate. The only reason I didn't give Aspen Inn a "10" is that the bed was way too firm for either of us, and usually I like a firm mattress. I'm sure had we asked Raquel would have let us know or given us a different room. So if you like a soft mattress, ask first! Raquel's recommendation of the Museum of Northern Arizona was a jackpot, we happened to be there during the Navajo Cultural Festival. What a treat.

We went to Flagstaff to sightsee and visit our college student son…this motel is in a great location, close to everything, and priced right. Not a huge room or ultra fancy, but clean, comfortable and quiet! I think the price was very reasonable and it had everything we needed.

My wife and I recently stayed at the Aspen Inn during our wedding anniversary vacation. When the owner discovered it was our anniversary, she upgraded us to a larger room at no extra charge. Even though we didn't get to meet the owner, the couple that took care of the place during our stay was very accommodating and friendly. The Inn itself is located on a quiet street just a couple of short blocks from the old-town Flagstaff shops and restaurants, so it's within a easy walking distance of everything without having to deal with all the noise. The room was very comfortable, and the breakfast cooked for us was delicious. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at Aspen Inn in the Emily room for one night in early September. This B and B is just lovely. The room and bathroom were spotless and extremely comfortable. Our hostess Raquel was terrific and served a delicious breakfast in the morning. We wished we had more than one night in Flagstaff and will definitely return on our next visit.
