First time coming here, food was ok. Not bad but not good. Service was lacking. Waitress was nice but definitely didn't come around enough. We where there for almost 4 hours and saw her maybe 4 times. The drinks where mostly good but super inconsistent. Several of us orders the same drink and they tasted very different. What really dropped the rating was the 20% gratuity charge added to our tickets. Explains why she didn't really come around much she new she was going to get a good tip no matter how bad her service was. I won't be coming back.

It took me awhile to think about this one. The wife and I visited this location recently for the first time. I would definitely say this location has great potential. The menu has something for everyone, the prices are good, the service and atmosphere are great. The food is a mystery, it wasn't bad, it's just that something was missing. I would say it was bland, too bland. To me when a chef seasons food it's sending a message, telling a story. At this location, to me it was as though something was being held back. That is a mistake. Like I said there is great potential, many stories that can be told. We definitely will be going back. I would recommend that you try it. I had the pattymelt and chips and salsa. The presentation was good, as I said previously the flavor was somewhat lacking. Don't let that be an impediment. Try it for yourself.

We had never been here. Good food. The service was good until we got our food then she stayed behind the bar area. It wasn't too busy so it wasn't the worst thing but I do expect a bit more attentiveness. She finally came over, I got a to-go box for my food and cup for my drink and we left. We will be back at some point.

My wife and I went here to watch the Ohio State football game. The staff went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable outside and changed the outside TV to the Ohio state game. Our waitress Laura made sure our plates were full and our drinks were fresh! The whole experience was awesome!! We recommend Putneys to anyone who wants a great atmosphere, great food and service well above most!!!

Was a 5 star review until the new bouncers came in to replace Chance and Nick. Couple of the most unlikeable, stiff, unapproachable dudes I've met. I understand that they're bouncers and aren't always supposed to be super nice, but at least tell them to grow a personality or something.
Waitress and bartenders are great though!

Typical sports bar....great pub food, plenty of on-tap beer selections, and lots of televisions. Nothing fancy, but the food was good and we got to watch the Stanley Cup playoffs.

I had the meatloaf with mashed potatoes and gravy, barbecue beans and iced tea all was good. I will be coming back I also have to mention that the bartender was very friendly and kept throwing up my iced tea
