We heard about their Friday/Saturday wood fire pizza night and decided to give it a try. We are so glad we did and will be back! The staff were extremely friendly, the chef makes the pizzas with fresh ingredients! By far the best pizzas in Surprise, not your chain restaurant pizza... you can taste the love poured into them! We were already lucky enough to by some pastries for dessert! This is where we've gone for Italian pastries since our trip to Italy in 2019 & My Daddys Bakery is authentic 🇮🇹 & amazing!

Note: the website says they are closed but they open for the wood fire pizza Friday & Saturday from 5p-9p.

You've got to try it for your self. We got there around 7pm and missed the rush!

Finally made it for wood fired pizza which is only on Friday and Saturday from 5-9 pm. Recommended by friend. Was wary as a lot of the reviews mentioned negative customer service experience. While we didn't have a negative experience it also was not positive, no greeting, no smile, no thank you.

Got there at 515 was already 7-8 tables ahead of us, wait time was about 20 minutes from order.

Outer Crust was really good with a good amount of char. Sauce was good, they must use San Marzano tomatoes, basic but good. Ordered Marinara and Margherita. Marinara was very soggy and bottom crust was floppy but tasted good. Margherita was same.

Overall mildly disappointed, probably won't go back. Very similar to what I make at home with my Ooni pizza oven but my bottom crust is not floppy.

Love this bakery!! Coming from Jersey it is hands down the best in AZ. Everyone is always very friendly, the desserts are delicious (my favorite is the Napoleon). There is plenty of seating inside if you want to grab lunch or breakfast there. When you first walk in it is the bakery and the cafe is towards the right. If you haven't been here it is definitely worth it!

They also have pizzas and pastas you can take home and cook yourself, I haven't tried them but I'm sure they are good.

The best Italian bakery I have found in the Valley. Not only do they have a great bakery/bread selection they do hot Italian sandwiches for order as well as an assortment of frozen Italian dishes to take home.
If you know about 7 layer cookies (rainbow) this is the closest thing I have found to a NY style Italian bakery

Disappointing experience. Burnt bread prominently displayed—hardly appealing and would not be displayed by any bakery owner. No samples of a sugar free cookie offered to try before buying. I was told no, I would have to buy, taste and maybe they would refund if I tried to return. Last visit was disappointing too. Was hoping for a change in their customer attitudes. Nope.

The most delicious treats and items here! It smells so good when you walk in and they have a wide variety of desserts and bread. They also have take n bake pizzas and ravioli. All the staff were kind and service was quick. I will definitely be coming back, I highly recommend. The banana nut muffin, the macarons and cherry turnover was great.

Tried this place for lunch. Came in at noon. The sandwich was overall good, meatballs were a tiny bit bland, bread roll was absolutely delicious. The overall value for the price of $10.70 for lunch, drink, and chips is an amazing value. Other sandwiches Insaw coming out looked amazing like the turkey bacon swiss and pastrami on rye.

The bakery looks amazing, I got as many pictures as I could. Pictures don't do it justice. Wasn't overly crowded for lunch, plenty of space to sit. Overall A experience!

This is not a review of the bakery, rather it is of the wood fired Napoletan pizza special every Friday evening from 5-9.
I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the ingredients and texture and flavor of the crust. It is crispy on the outside and light and airy on the inside, just the way it should be. The d flavor of the sauce was authentic, also. Very reasonably priced. Will definitely go back. Too bad it's only on Friday and Saturdays from 5-9.
