I stopped into this little market yesterday for the first time. I bought a half a pound of Carne Asada, I wanted to try it based on the reviews. Some fresh corn tortillas, some flour tortillas, and some other vegetables and chips and stuff like that. First of all we say this, Carnell said a flavor is absolutely delicious! It really has a very good flavor. Having said that the meat is a little tougher than I would like. And it’s like $15 a pound so I would expect it to be a little more tender. The corn tortillas are wonderful, the flour tortillas are molded . I may have caught them on an off day, but that was my experience.

I don’t care where or how far I move this is always our spot for all things asada, guacamole and more. When we have huge gatherings tacos are our go to and the fresh guacamole and salsa here are always my go to. The guacamole goes so fast in our house and stays fresh so many more days than anywhere else I’ve tried. Service is always friendly. They also offer cooked food to eat with a few tables inside. Tacos and such. Veggies are fresh and worth the extra drive passed so many other markets.

I love the tortillas they sell there, the meats also look very nice. I keep going back, despite the lady at the register seems to not like me very much. For sure the best tortillas within a 30 mile radius though 🙂

Found this hidden gem driving from nearby Sun City on my way to another mexican market and decided to try this place. I ordered the chicharones and carne asada with rice and beans and their warm fresh corn tortillas! Their carne asada was not the best, more like beef jerky and hard to chew. But the chicharones, rice and beans were the best and want to try their other meats next time.

They make your carne asada to order. Any meat you choose and even chop it up for you taco style. And the way you like. Medium well or well done. I highly recommend it
