My girl woke me up and said she wanted to try it. I was hungover so I was happy to see a menudo and pozole bar with all the fixings. We definitely will be back. And hopefully next time I’ll try out the omelette station. Service is always good and the food. My personal favorite is the chili Colorado (fire)

My husband and I wanted to try a new Mexican restaurant since the others have been, meh. We just can't find a spot that we can call "the one." I searched what was near and came across Amigos. They had good reviews overall, and the photos looked promising. We placed our order for pickup, which was ready sooner than estimated. Thank God because we were huuungry.
I ordered the Carne Asada Chimichanga, and my hubby had the Chile Colorado. They were bith good sized portions that were very tasty. I was pleased with my dinner and can't wait to back again. This time to dine in.

This has been the best sit down Mexican restaurant we have found in Surprise. Really well seasoned rice and beans. The chips were fresh. I wish the salsa had a little more spice but it was good. The chicken enchilada mole was very well balanced. The green chile burro enchilada style had great flavor too.

So talk about a good bang for your buck. The buffet is the way to go here during the buffet hours. $21.99 and there is a little of everything with good flavors. Including omelettes cooked to order, whole shrimp ceviche, menudo and posolé, and a nice assortment of dessert options. They did a great job of decorating this place to give you that “Old Mexico” feel and the bar looked nicely stocked. If only our server would have checked on us a bit more often, I would have been fully impressed with this place. I would not recommend the pan dulce, not great, but all in all, I will definitely be back.

Everything was excellent! Food was hot and fresh! Vegetarian and kid friendly. Kept up with our drinks and chips and salsa. After visiting the zoo all day we were thirsty and hungry. The service was excellent and made sure our needs were met. We did not wait for a table at 5pm on a Monday and waited maybe 10 minutes for food. The portions were perfect and filled us right up. The food was fresh and authentic. The atmosphere was fun and inviting.
