Second year that we've had our annual accounting dept retreat there and it is the absolute best place!! I can't wait to go back next year! The rooms are great but the beat part is the inn keeper, Cynthia. She is so down to earth and makes you feel so welcome. Best service ever. Highly recommend the Mentone Inn!

If your idea of a quaint weekend is to be surrounded by vicious loose dogs, then when you ask that the dogs be controlled you are told by a low class employee that you are "on private property" then the Mentone Inn might be for you. Otherwise, I recomnend one of the nearby cabins at DeSoto State Park. Thank God there were no children around at the time of the incident.

Looked at our room and hallway, stairs. A little shoddy. Could be beautiful! Needs about $250-$400, 000 put into the facility, and will be a prime location with a beautiful atmosphere!

Had great time there first time staying there it was good location and enjoy the porch very nice got to visit so people from Birmingham very nice folks had good conversation and laughs it was nice birthday weekend for me and my daughter we got go apple farm that we didn't know about and art show and got eat wildflower cafe it was delicious we enjoy the breakfast it was delicious very nice people there we will definitely be back next year same place

We've stayed here on two different occasions and will be back. The location is excellent, rooms are comfortable, and the caretaker is friendly and eager to please. The absolute best part is the delicious breakfast!

My husband and I celebrated my birthday and our anniversary this weekend. The staff members were great and Cynthia was very helpful in helping us. The rooms were very nice and the breakfast was great! We'll definitely be back!

This B &B is like going to visit your best friend who just happens to live in a 109 yr old house. Everyone is so warm and friendly.
This is a 100 yr old building and has the expected quirks which adds to the charm. The bed was extremely comfortable, and breakfast was delicious

This inn is such a gem! Cynthia, the innkeeper, always makes us feel so at home and treats our boys with such kindness! The breakfast is DELICIOUS and the location is wonderful for visiting the little town or the nearby nature attractions. We have stayed here twice and will definitely be back!
