As close to authentic Mexican tacos as you can get! Edson was wonderful and served our tennis group with a wonderful array of tacos. Based on the meats that were available. He was working solo so we understood he would take a while to prepare stuff. We had someone who was a vegetarian in the group and he made her special tacos, which could convert me into a vegetarian! I wish all the best of him and hope that he can get more help with the business so things can be done more efficiently.

If you want the very best tasting tacos, la bamba is the place. Seating is limited, only 4 tables, and they're always busy! But the wait is worth it!

A unique and pleasant surprise. If you come here expect restaurant wait times as food is made fresh and to order. My favorite tacos were surprisingly the asada and chicken. Those are usually my least favorite because they have usually lacked flavor. These two were delicious. The pastor and fish tacos were both very good as well. Each taco had great balance of flavors. The one negative would be the Watermelon Aguas Frescas. It was really bland. Excited to go back!

Continuing on the way home we stopped here about a year and a half ago and was so glad we did

We drove through Surprise and didn’t really see anything we wanted to stop for … No offense to any business in Surprise

We worked a gig job in Surprise though and said to ourselves, it’s time to eat

This place was just what the doctor ordered man … The food was delicious with a capital D

We was so full we barely was able to walk to our car, lol

The employees here was so super awesome sauce as well

**As soon as I walked in, I was told very loudly it would be a 20-minute wait for food, and they only had asada and al pastor left available to order. I was asked if I wanted to dine in or order to go. I opted to dine in. There were 8 people waiting for their food. I patiently waited, wondering when my order was going to be taken. Well, it took over 20 minutes for my order to be taken and over another 20 minutes for my food to come out. No way, I would have waited 47 minutes for 5 tacos. I ordered 5 asada tacos ( 3 of which were bamba style) and 2 watermelon drinks my total $30 and change.

The kicker for me was when 2 sets of Caucasian couples walked in, they were greeted totally different, and they also asked if they could order both shrimp and fish, and the owner quickly replied: Yes!

I was blown away. I looked around, and 5 of the customers who were there before me were looking at me also puzzled, as they heard him tell me only beef and pork was left to order. I initially came in to order 3 shrimp tacos and 2 asada. My party of 2 was the only African Americans in the establishment.

I ended up taking our food to go because my daughter was falling asleep, and I was absolutely offended by the indifferent treatment to their patrons. Needless to say, I won't be returning.

In pursuit of always searching for the best food establishments, we stumbled across La Bamba Mexican grill in El Mirage on our way to Wickenburg. This place specifically offers tacos. No rice, no beans, just tacos. Yes they offer corn on the cob and a special puffed tortilla dessert, but tacos is clearly the owner ‘Edson Garcia’s’ calling (pictured with Joe Donti). He sings, dances and tells stories while working hard at the grill making tacos… And they are delicious! Many different flavors of meats to choose from. You may be thinking to yourself “how good can a taco be?”, well, it’s worth the drive to find out. The place seats about 25 and there’s a bit of a wait (Friday night) but well worth it. We’re looking forward to going back. Edson (from Veracruz, MX) is as genuine as they come! He’s an owner operator that loves to serve his patrons. He loves to crack a few jokes while he’s doing his thing! Great vibe and we loved it.
