This place is a rip off. The pool is always closed, the apartments are in horrible run down conditions. There are homeless people constantly running through the dumpsters at all times of day and night. Constant drunken fights by neighbors and every person that seems to move here has some drug issue. My last neighbor screamed at her dog nonstop at all times. My car was broken into twice and now my motorcycle stolen. I can't wait to leave this crap hole of a place. It is nothing that they promised or advertised, don't fall for it!

We stayed here in 2010 and were quite pleased with our accommodations. We rented a studio apartment and enjoyed the conveniences of the kitchenette and in room laundry service. The pool was wonderful and we would recommend this location to stay. We would stay again.

Only open very limited hours. No onsite maintenance. Takes MONTHS to get things fixed like roof leaks, water damage, electrical shorts and appliances that don't work. Oh and they don't take care of insect or pest problems.

Edit: My pizza man got held up at gun point for accidentally knocking on the wrong door. The unit I was in (3rd floor) was losing structural integrity (entire condo was leaning to the west) causing every door and window to have a large gap at the bottom and a severe rub at the top. My bedroom door didn't even close cause of this. A/C electric bill (being it was in my name) was astronomical around $200 a month for a small one bedroom. I changed every light out for LED and still only saved $10... a/c was set on 78F. I get that this is Arizona and it's hot as hell but these units aren't insulated at all.

I have to say it earned a star for the security screen doors and bars on the windows. However I really could have done without the unwanted roommates on my balcony.

WARNING Bait & Switch!!!
Several of the units are in POOR condition.
Upon first looking at the unit, I was ready to turn around and walk out. The property manager stopped me and assured me that a number of things (including cabinets, plumbing and TVs) would be repaired or replaced before I moved in.
HE DISAPPEARED AFTER I SIGNED THE LEASE!
I found out over 60 days later, because my dryer was not working for over FIVE WEEKS, that he was no longer with the company. It still took over 2 weeks to get my dryer fixed - and no reimbursement or credit for the expense and inconvenience of having to wash/dry clothing elsewhere for 7wks.

The cabinets and appliances are 30yrs old (1984-1987) and failing, there are old and new water marks all over, no insulation making units extra hot in the summer and cold in the winter resulting in high electric bills all year, multiple issues with plumbing and A/C. And, though not a physical property issue, the worst part is the low-class LOUD tennants who argue and curse at ALL hours (paper thin walls), play loud, foul-language music with their doors open and smoke enough to make even walking by a health hazard. This is not just one neighbor/unit, it is several!

Stay a while and it looks, sounds and smells like an inner-city project.

I do not recommend this place to anyone. Decent rental homes in the area cost less than this dump.

An aging facility, our condo was very much in need of updating, but was quite acceptable for 2 guys on a one week golf vacation - nice to have a full kitchen with fridge to keep the beer cold, make a few meals, etc. We hit the hot tub almost every nite - never anyone else there. Would certainly return with the guys, but the room would not get approval from my wife without the needed updating. Very reasonable rates, but don't expect 5 star.

I've stayed here on and off since 1994, it's always been a respite from living in cold weather during the winter and a nice place to cool down in the summer. The snow birds love visiting here, the management has always been more than graceful and accommodating. Always ask for John Caldamone or his wife as they have been here since the beginning. Their was financial hard ship during 9/11 and 2008 and the recovery has been very good. I highly recommend for an evening or a life time. Their is a nice restaurant (I&J fountain) on property, shopping in almost all directions, a bistro about 3 blocks away called Birts Bistro- at night playing jazz/blues and it's also a coffee/ library during the day. Location is centralized and very large mall (arrowhead mall) several miles to the east otherwise everything seams to be getting better by the day. I highly recommend.

I have lived here three times now over the years and would highly recommend The Lodge at Sun Ridge, I'm living here now in a 1 bedroom/with den and love it. I have my own washer and dryer, plus free cable with a flat screen TV included as well along with WiFi and my unit is beautifully furnished 🙂

I've been living here for about 4 years and I love it here. The people here are awesome nice and friendly willing to help you. The people in the office personnel Rock if there's a problem they try to fix it in a timely manner if they can't fix it they get the right person to fix it.
