All day Happy Hour every Wednesday at Hula's Modern Tiki on High Street in Phoenix, AZ! Classic tiki bar with an urban twist. Every dish was delicious! We didn't have reservations so we sat at the bar. My hubby did all the ordering so I must admit, we are on vacation. I do not want to make decisions. :). The servers at the bar were busy making all the drinks for the whole restaurant and taking food orders from guests sitting at the bar. Well done bar team! Felt like I was back in Waikiki in Phoenix! Must try if you haven't.

Friendly service. Fun, tasty food-food drinks and very solid food. Great place for brunch with friends.

Probably sentimental, but I do love having a place nearby where I can get a little spam or a solid loco moco.

Truly enjoyed the drinks (very fair brunch happy hour pricing). Zombie. Dr Funk. Painkiller. All of whicb were surprisingly not too sweet as tropical drunks can often be.

This is a great dog friendly restaurant. They even have a dog menu. The patio is nice, with plenty of nearby parking. They have very unique flavors and dishes, so I recommend trying what you think sounds good. I've tried a few dishes, and they were all good. Enjoy!

We loved mostly everything. I can vouch for the mai tai, ribs, shitake mushrooms, the ribeye, and the pan fried hapu (the one thing I will note here that I didn’t love was that I was not informed that it was breaded - I assumed pan fried would be treated different than the “encrusted” prepared options but it was breaded with rice flour). Our server, Ronnie, was lovely. Overall, we were all happy with our choice to dine here!

So, decided to visit this place for first time. I sat at the bar and the bartender acknowledged me right away. Took my order, gave suggestions and excellent service.

I only wanted to have one drink however, it was happy hour and I ordered a slider and a pork taco from happy hour menu.

Sliders are sliders so, nothing overwhelming buy, acceptable. The Pork Taco A LA Cart was delicious. The drink I ordered was an Old Fashion and must say, was made perfect.

I will surely be back to try more items.

We read the positive reviews about this restaurant on Google and were excited to try it, as my family spends summers in Hawaii and love it there. The restaurant was very nice and had a fun environment. We enjoyed eating outside (though the fireplace appeared to be broken). Unfortunately, my family said that the pulled pork, jerk chicken and loaded fries they ordered were the worst foods they had ever eaten, as the meat was in an inedible, soupy and salty sauce. My teenage son even sent back the French fries, which we have never done before (he'll eat any fried food)! Neither of them chose to finish their meals (but I did enjoy the lobster bisque!) Maybe they tried to make traditional Hawaiian food fancy and different, but my family said L&L Hawaiian BBQ (cheap and in strip malls in Hawaii) is much better and less expensive.
