This place is an absolute gem. Jo is the biggest sweetheart ever and the staff overall are the nicest people I ever had the pleasure of speaking with. And the food? The food was amazing. The ribs were tender and moist, perfectly seasoned, the corn bread was awesome, and the mixed berry cobbler was the best part of the whole meal. You HAVE to come here

Where do I even begin here? High level, if you're in Wickenburg, AZ at all, I highly recommend trying the Onery Hog! Dan & Jo Flower were great to chat with and they have such a fun little spot there. Thank you for the hospitality 🙏

We ordered a mix of things to try and get a wide range of flavors. This included the ribs, pulled pork, brisket, and sausage. The ribs were tasty and I really enjoyed the rub on them. The pulled pork was great and just the right amount of juicy, not dry at all. The brisket was a little more dry than I might usually like but paired with the sweet sauce, it ended up hitting just right. As for the sausage, wowza! I hit something spicy in mine. My friends I was with didn't think it was too spicy so I guess I just got the spicy part in mine. I ended up putting the sweet sauce on it but it still had a good kick.

For the sides we went with cornbread, beans, mac & cheese, and coleslaw. I really enjoyed the cornbread, pretty fluffy and the green chili is a good touch in this. The beans were good but I think I still prefer ranch style beans with chunks of brisket and such. As for the mac & cheese, this was not really my thing with the green chili but I can see how many people might like this. Also, not enough sharp cheddar for me. To top it off, the coleslaw had the right kick of pepper and the right amount of of all the slaw ingredients.

On the sauce front, as I referenced above, my favorite was the sweet BBQ sauce. The mango habanero sauce was good and not too spicy. My spicy tolerance is low and I still enjoyed trying this on everything just to see how it paired.

The service was great! Again, thank you everyone there. You made our visit wonderful.

Last note, if you're charging at the Tesla Supercharger, this is an easy walk. It looks far on the map because of the bridge but, it's only a 5-10 minute walk depending on your pace.

Wow, wow, wow! First of all Dan and Jo the owners are so genuine and sweet. I believe that is what makes their place what it is because they care about each person that walks through their doors. The BBQ was exceptional! We got Dan’s combo which me and my wife shared. The meal included the brisket, sausage and ribs. Our sides were the mac and cheese, potato salad and corn bread. That corn bread was out of this world. To top off the meal we had the peach cobbler with vanilla ice cream, heaven in a bowl!!!! Dan and Jo thanks to you and your crew, truly for a wonderful bbq experience, we will be back and we will tell all of our friends.

Another great mom and pop place in Wickenburg. My compliments to the chef! The meat isn't over seasoned and smoked perfectly. The plates can be expensive but 2 people can easily share one plate. In fact we let them know we were sharing and they split the plate for us. The sides were delicious (mac and cheese, potato salad) we also had the jalapeno cornbread which was very delicious as well. The decor here was also very cozy and welcoming. Almost like going to a grandparents home. Great place, I highly recommend going.

My family and I stumbled across the onery hog a few years back and it has become a regular place that we not only visit cause the brisket is by far the best I've ever had, but also because the owners Jo and Dan have become people that the entire family care for look forward to seeing. They will make you feel like part of the family no matter if it's your first time stopping in or you're a regular. They by far serve superior BBQ to any place you will ever visit. I recommend the brisket dinner, but it doesn't matter what you get, if you enjoy smoked meats, there's nothing you can order that will let you down. A must have if you are passing through or live in town

Wonderful food, ordered the beavertail combo which is ribs and brisket. Comes with two sides. Split with hubby. Huge amounts. They split the items for us and the pic shows just half of what we got. They offer a sweet sauce and a honey Sriracha sauce. Service was fantastic. Lovely outside sitting area as well

Jo is such a sweetheart and the food is amazing. Some of the best ribs I have ever had. Definitely worth a stop if you're passing thru, or stranded by a wildfire.
