Stayed n October , stopped heading to the Grand Canyon. Cute 50s styles rooms. Clean, beds and pillows were comfortable. Spacious room and bathroom. Have a fridge / microwave. Also loved the toiletries… the smelled so good. They partnered with best western so if you have any issues when they close you have access to someone and that where you get breakfast. Breakfast has a variety of stuff like pancakes, eggs, bacon, fruit , yogurt , cereal ect . Many places to eat , we asked for recommendations for dinner when we checked in. They also have laundry room which was a time saver for us! Area was quiet

We’ve been on a 3 week roadtrip to see the west. Spent 4 days here while exploring. Of ALL the motels we’ve stayed in, Aikens lodge was clearly our most favorite. Clean quaint rooms, close to everything . But the management, Maria and Charlie went above and beyond to make our stay an excellent one. Would love to visit here again!

Lovely staff with a personal touch. The rooms have a cute 50s aesthetic and were clean. Their partnership with the Best Western down the road meant that we could get service any hour of the day. There was a good variety of things to eat for breakfast. Right in the middle of town; you can walk to a lot from the hotel. Would definitely stay again.

We booked one of the 3 bedroom family units and it was awesome! Check in was a piece of cake and the room was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. We had dinner at the taco truck, Tacos Sinaloa, that was in the parking lot the night we were there. We had the free breakfast the next morning at the Best Western (which owns Aikens) and it was a 3 minute walk and had eggs, sausage, cereal... overall a good breakfast spread. So glad I chose this place!

You have to run the water in the bathtub for at least 5 minutes to get rid of the rust-colored water every time you use it. Which makes me wonder what kind of water is coming out of the sink. The A/C is a window air conditioner that struggles to keep the room cool. They also tell you to not set the temperature below 68 degrees because it could blow the electrical circuit. It was around 100 degrees when we were there. The rooms are cute but need to be upgraded as they look like something out of the 1970's. Very basic and nothing special. They do offer a free breakfast at the Best Western next door but guess what? The A/C was broken so if you like to eat while sweating this is the place for you. Way overpriced for $137 a night.

MUFan-TRIP

We stayed at Aiken for 1 night on our way to GC North Rim. If you go into it with the right attitude this is a fine place to stay. Room definitely small and "retro". I'd forgotten how convenient it is to park your car right outside your motel door. Room comes with a retro fridge with a freezer so that was nice. Full breakfast included served at the Best Western 1 block over.|We used the laundry and it was great. Washer is free (BYO Soap). Dryer 4 quarters. |The one negative was the TV. It only played 1 channel of some retro TV program. So if you need TV probably not a good choice.

Nice place to stay! I like being able to park my motorcycle right out front of the room. The chairs out front made it nice to sit and talk about the days ride. The staff was friendly and made me feel at home. Breakfast was good and I didn't mind the short walk to their sister hotel to eat. Will stay here again!
