Yes do come here! We came for a late lunch and were so pleased we did. We sat at the bar which was very comfortable and quiet. We ordered a bottle of red wine, we weren’t originally taken with it but with food it paired very nicely. I had the seafood risotto and my husband had the spaghetti and meatballs. My meal was incredible (I shared!) his was good but not great as the sauce was runny and chunky. We split a Caesar salad to start which was good but too lightly dressed for our tastes. Since this was our meal for the day we splurged on the bread pudding dessert and it was incredible. Truly most of the food was really very good and I would recommend it for the food alone.

The service was very good. We were the only folks at the bar and our server was initially slow to get to us but then became quite attentive and was pleasant. The gentleman who delivered our food was exceptionally kind and engaging.

The bathroom was clean and well stocked.

Parking can be a challenge in this area as the park is where everyone who wants to walk the loop around the fountain parks. We parked on the street nearby.

They have a good happy. The food on it is delicious. Also their main menu has great food too. Nice view of the fountain from their patio. Their limoncello is amazing!

I am so happy I found this place. Definitely a must try place in fountain hills for those who are coming out of state or even from the city. I got the seafood risotto and my bf got the chicken parmigiana. Both were delicious but I will have to say the seafood risotto was amazing. They weren’t stingy with the seafood and the taste was spot on.

We came after a show at Fountain Hills Theater, and unfortunately did not have great service despite the reviews. The food however (outside of the bread) was good. I wouldn't say the best Italian I've had in the area, but our seafood and lasagna was fresh.

We sat on the patio and it was not very busy outside or inside, and there were a number of wait staff. Even upon meeting our waitress, she seemed as though we were a burden to her night. I had asked a few questions about the specials (which I heard her tell the table behind us a different fish than what she told us), we also asked about wine and sparkling water (both which did not ever come to the table). After a decent wait for the check, it was the wrong check (larger table). After waiting again for her to pick up the check, I took it up to the front to pay and noticed she was pouring wine at another table. I'm not sure if she suddenly got dealt a few more tables, but there was no apology or mention where we could have been empathetic to the situation (again, there were a lot of other waitresses).

The bread was rather stale, not fluffy and for the establishment, was not the quality I would have expected. I also asked another of the staff for butter for the bread and she did not seem like she wanted to be there.

I hope the staff is not unhappy, it seemed as though no one wanted to be there nor provide decent customer service. There was also chocolate on my chair in which I had sat on and noticed when we left.

Not very impressed given the previous reviews.

Food and atmosphere was good, except for the bird out on the patio. Mostly likely not their fault as people probably food it. It was so loud and begging and tried to actually sit at the table with us! The only reason I am only giving 4 stars is because of the wine order. We ordered a $38 bottle and they sold us a $51 bottle!! First of all $38 is pretty good pricey for a Monday lunch and then they dinged us $51. Come on. I had the special, grilled halibut without the lemon butter sauce which was good. Grilled vegetables which was GREAT. A a house side salad which was really good.

My wife and I have been here a couple of times the food was delicious as always but the service this time was not up to par.

We had to keep reminding the waitress to bring us oil & balsamic vinigar for our bread, parmasean for our food and they were completely out of gnocchi & ravioli which were 2 of the dishes we wanted to try.

When we wanted to get the check it took her litterally 20 min from the time I asked till when she brought it.

This service problem was most likely caused by poor resource management, they did not plan for such a busy weekend and did not have enough food or staff on hand.

However thereis no excuse when you are 1 of only 2 restaurants overlooking the fountain hills lake & fountain and it's a beautiful 74° outside w/o a cloud in the ski you know people come from all over to relax at the lake.

FYI Google isn't just for mapping it also can show you the weather 10 days to 1 Mo. out for planning so this does not happen.

Since this is the 1st time this has happened there of course my wife and I will go back but we just hope this does not happen again.

If you’re looking for a quiet place for authentic Italian food, look somewhere else. We were there on a week night about 7pm. The restaurant was crowded, noisy, and brightly lit. Tables are too close together. We each had different entrees which included pasta. It was overcooked and reminiscent of pasta from a can. The shrimp cocktail was the best part of the meal. So, arrivederci Arrivederci!

We were really disappointed. When we arrived, there was a strong sewer gas smell. We asked the hostess and she dismissed our question. We were seated and it is a nice, intimate place. We felt very rushed to get our order in and the food arrived before we had a chance to enjoy appetizers. After a few bites of our meals, my husband and I both didn’t want to finish them. I had the eggplant Parmesan. Due to the enormous amount of cheese inside and on top of it, you would never even know that there was eggplant. The red sauce on the pasta was blah. My husband ordered a signature dish that he said the meat was very dry and agreed that the red sauce was not good. We asked for the check and the server never once asked if everything was ok with our meal, it was obvious that we were not eating them. Will not be returning.
