Wow! This place is special, the staff is kind and laid back with best interests for the cats while giving great customer service. My 8 & 10 yo had a memorable visit. The visit for me was most enjoyable bc customers are so happy to be with the cats, it was a comfortable, clean, and epic vibe experience. Great job getting cats safe homes while serving the community.

Absolutely loved visiting all the sweet, loveable cats at El Jefe Cat Cafe!! The right side of the building is where you buy time (Hour increments), Cafe drinks, and cat treats to enjoy while you visit the cat cafe section to the left of the building. Right side also houses lots of cute merchandise for yourself and your cats! Cafe drinks were extremely delicious and well priced! Once you purchase time and whatever else, you exit and enter the left part of the building which is a cute 3- story layout with a bunch of cute, adoptable, and lovable cats. We bought treat tokens and chose Churro tube treats. Most cats were sleepy since it was later in the day but enticing them with treats, quickly most of all the cats (except for the shy ones) come to greet us and were ready to love on us. It was clean and you could tell all the cats were well cared for! I loved every second of my visit and can't wait to visit again!

We visit ALL cat cafes on vacations. This one is fantastic. It is clean, and the cats are well loved. The cats are more nervous here than in Tennessee, but who knows what it’s like to be a stray baby in the desert? I can’t even imagine. And they have so many chonks! The cafe has 3 levels, with babies kept upstairs and only allowed 2 visitors at a time. The decor is like the inside of a Lisa Frank coloring book- stunning and joyful! Definitely a place I’d revisit 😍

Friendly and attentive staff, yummy lattes, and of course, best of all, sweet kitties! It's clean and comfortable. I'm rating this five stars because I'm reviewing the cafe itself, and the staff who were there when I was. It was a great experience, and I have no doubt I'll be back at some point. But the one problem I see here is that their website has no information about the adoptable cats beyond their pictures. When I asked the cafe staff about the adoption process, they said to reach out to the rescue organization they partner with. I've done so twice, and have not received a response either time. I don't know how these cats will find homes when the rescue doesn't answer inquiries. So if you're looking to actually adopt, this may not be it. But if what you're looking for is a cozy place to get your kitty fix, this is most definitely that!

What a great place to interact with adoptable kitties! They all seemed relaxed and happy. Faint smell of cat food upon entering, but what do you expect? There are lots of places for the cats to relax with people, and also up high or in little caves when they want to be alone.
Next door is a cafe that serves espresso drinks as well as Italian ice and lemonade. There is also a shop that sells stuff for cats, and cat themed gifts.
Very enjoyable experience. I will definitely be back.

A friend and I had a coffee date here recently and I loved the experience! There isn’t any food that I saw there, but they did have a few drink choices to choose from. There had a lot of cute cat related gift items created by local and other vendors. The cat room was cute and cozy with lots of friendly felines to greet you. You can purchase some kitty treats as well- which will make you their favorite person ever. Look forward to the next time we get to visit.

We had a great time getting our "cat fix" when visiting Tucson. However, the graphic on our candle, which was brightly colored and has never been in direct sunlight, has almost faded to nothing in a year and a half.
