The Windmill Winery is an oasis in the desert. This amazing property is off the beaten path in Florence, next to a cotton field. There are a number of buildings, trees & grass with two good sized bodies of water. They host many weddings and events here & host live music at their winery. They are closed in the summer.

The windmill winery blew all of my expectations out of the water!! It was such an awesome experience working with Tana and Karen leading up to my wedding, they answered all my questions and gave me encouragement and advice along the way. We toured the venue in the winter and I cried it was so pretty, and then we got married in May and everything was in full bloom and I was in a dream, it was so stunning. Tala was our day of coordinator, she was ON TOP of all the details and even last minute changes. She made sure our rehearsal answered all my questions and everyone knew what they were doing AND day of she was a saint!!! She calmed all my nerves and kept everything perfectly on schedule. I didn’t have to think about a thing and truly got to enjoy every moment. I could not recommend the windmill winery enough if you’re looking for an inclusive, affordable, and PERFECT wedding experience.

What a very nice venue and atmosphere! The place is beautiful! I meant the owners while doing a bridal open house with my daughter, my son, his fiance, and my wife. One of the owners gave us the tour! Super nice! Very friendly atmosphere, beautiful landscape! The barn for a venue would be spectacular!

Beautiful place!

The backdrop for the Ceremony was incredible. Plenty of seating for guests on the lawn, grand entrance doors for the bride, and plenty of little nooks tucked all around the property for great photo opportunities.

The barn is a great place for receptions and allows plenty of room for all the creative touches and pieces for a wedding.... well lit, great bar area, and even room for the before cocktails on the patio outside before the grand festivities begin.

From lawn games to the donkey wandering around carrying beer, the possibilities are endless for whatever you're imagining.

My only complaint was the drive. It is in... what seems to be... the middle of nowhere... and then you spot a tiny civilization in the middle of this nowhere. Finally turning into the property, you are met by the charm and elegance of what the evening should hold.

Well run by the coordinator and very friendly staff all throughout.

Getting married at the windmill is like getting married at home. The environment itself is warm, and inviting mixed with elegance. You truly forget you’re in Florence, Az once you enter the gates. The biggest factor into the beauty of this venue, is their staff. We first met Tana, and Karen. Tana was extremely helpful, and patient going over our contract with us at the beginning. She was absolutely amazing on the day of our wedding. She helped me carry my dress, made sure I was shifting my body weight evenly, etc.. she was my “comfort” during those moments leading up to walking down that aisle! Karen was so sweet, and patient as well. She helped me a TON deciding on our linens, and decor!! She was always responsive, and helpful with her opinions on color schemes! Let me tell ya, color schemes are hard when it’s your wedding. Because everything is beautiful, you just want it all. Karen helped me narrow it alllll down!!! Icon!!
Now, we have my girl Tala!!!!! Oh my goodness! We met with her 6 months before our wedding day. She came to our house, and honestly I forgot we were planning a wedding after a bit! It felt like I was having a friend over, hanging out! She was so kind, and easy to talk to. She made the first steps into planning our wedding layout extremely easy! Any questions we had, she was always quick to respond which was amazing!!!!! On the day of our rehearsal, she texted me with parking instructions AND told me she was setting up a mimosa bar for us in the bridal suite for the wedding day! Like… SLAY! I can go on and on, about how amazing everyone was. We are both so thankful for every single person at the Windmill. We will be going there for date nights FOR SURE!!!

We went on a Saturday night when they had music-a guitar singer with a nice selection of tunes. It was a busy place. People on the main patio kept the chill off with patio heaters. We were farther out and had multiple fire pits to keep us warm. We bought a bottle of Barnstorm Red (yum) and had a very enjoyable time. There was a food truck but we did not eat, the prices seemed high to me.
