Hospitality at its best. Every employee we came into contact with from check in to check out was absolutely wonderful and friendly. Check in was fast and easy, our room was clean, the breakfast made the stay worth it for sure. My one and only complaint is about the towel situation. They don't seem to have enough towels for all the guests. We checked in with 6 and only had 2 towels in the room when we arrived, it was late, so my husband and I showered and waited til morning to ask for more. When we left the room for breakfast the house keeper was in the hall we alerted her to the situation and she asked us to leave out our dirty towels, which we did. We came back from breakfast to only the dirty ones gone so I went down to ask the desk, they said no problem. A couple hours went by and I went back to the desk to ask again, 30 more minutes and finally 4 towels. The next morning we asked could we just get two fresh ones so that each person could have their own and we could shower before check out, we were told, very apologetically, that they didn't even have two towels to give us. We would've just been okay with 6 towels at the beginning for both nights, but they made it where we had to share wet towels or go without a shower. I truly felt like it was out of the staffs hands as they were so nice and helpful. We will be back again despite the towel problem, but we hope you guys can fix that.

This is the worst Holiday Inn express I have ever stayed at. I’ll start with positive. The girl at the front desk was very nice and very helpful. Gave me a room went to the room after a really long tiring day room key didn’t work. Went back to the front desk gave me another set of room keys back to the room and again the room key didn’t work. Then she goes down and tries the room key and again the room key didn’t work. Go to the new room OK, it’s not bad. The room key work Check heating and air-conditioning unit didn’t work. So I decided to call the front desk. The phone in the room didn’t work. So I use my cell phone to call the front desk and nobody answered. Got up in the morning took a shower and the shower wasn’t cleanand I thought that’s OK. I got through it. I’ll just make coffee and go. Coffee maker didn’t work. I packed my bag and left and won’t be back.

Worst internet ever. Seems to be the theme at every holiday inn. Might as well not even offer it. USB charging ports between beds are broken. Bathroom is subpar. Staff is super nice.

Positive: location Negative: It was not as clean as you would expect a Holiday Inn would be. The room was musty. The phone did not work. The same breakfast was served all three days. Not enough variety.

I absolutely loved our stay from check-in on a Friday night until check-out on Sun morning. Rooms were nice and clean and the beds are super comfy. Breakfast was really good. Everyone we encountered was really super nice and very helpful. I would highly recommend staying here, look forward to returning and staying in the future. 🙂

This is a nice, quiet hotel. Their breakfast is really great for kids and families. Room was clean. I have zero complaints. The staff at the front desk is awesome and very helpful. I would highly recommend if in the area and are in need of a place to stay.

This hotel have bed bugs. I checked in on May 11th 2024 and stayed in room 320 after examining the room i notice bedbugs and after pulling the blanket back, it was several long strings of hair on the sheets as if it was remade after the previous guest. I tried writing a review under the website because i did call down to the front desk to complain and it would not let me write a review because it was not registering my name, it is more ways to get around that. The lady at the front desk offer to have my money put back on my card but I would have had to wait several days for that and I was a long way from home. The attendant came up to my room 320 to bring me the key to room 218 and she did not enter for me to show her the bedbugs as if she already knew or had previously complaints. Room 218 I seen 1 but where there is 1 there is more. Please check everything thoroughly if you stay at this hotel.

I always stay here when I visit, I am from Sylacauga -However, this go around I was able to see the downfall of the customer service which is the most important part I hate writing this review for one person not representing the hotel in a positive way because all the other desk service/ personal was good. Always remember you have a choice to work and do your job at your best or a choice to quit:) I left a piece of expensive jewelry and the way it is being handled just for me to get a response is beyond me the lack of concern has me in shock really hopefully one day someone will reach out I have taken the L on the jewelry BUT it would be nice just to see if someone turned it in. YES, I know for a fact it was left behind and I take accountability for doing so still the right thing to do in such a case would be turn it in 🙂 Would I stay again probably it's really the only hotel close for me to be able to move around and see family and overall it is not bad one apple should not spoil the entire reputation of the hotel. ;(
UPDATE- The MGR left a response for this review, however, still did not follow up with a phone call to see what happen. SMH please work on customer service that is where the buck of the business lay.
