Clean room and bathroom. Nice quiet (off season) stay. There were only a few other rooms rented. The cleaning lady knocked and tried coming Into my room 3 times (I noticed when I got out of the shower the door latch was moved) I couldn't get a late check out.i left about 1030am. And she was waiting outside my room looking irritated.

At the reading the other reviews, I took a shot to stay here. Her rooms are clean bathroom clean very affordable. I think I only paid $51 out the door so I got two rooms. No complaints best price in town, close to the grocery store.

We stopped here to stay for a night when I was sick on a trip out west. The staff was extremely nice, the rooms were very clean and comfortable. The front desk lady had great recommendations about town and even asked about me being sick. Extremely accommodating and could not recommend enough.

This is an older Motel. The rooms and bathroom were clean. Breakfast was adequate. Our room had full beds instead of Queen size. Would have been tight to share a bed. The motel is convenient, on the main road. We wouks stay here again.

I could feel bed bugs all over me during the night and woke up with some bad rashes from them. I wish in my sleepy delirium I had the wherewithal to get up and leave. I rarely give negative reviews but this was a serious health issue.

Update: I posted this on behalf of my father, and for simplicity used first person since he doesn’t have a review account and for your purposes it doesn’t matter if it was me or my father with bedbugs all over us in your hotel. Since you’re intent on trying to deny it or own me or whatever instead of reaching out for more info, I’m going to go ahead and lodge formal complaints with the appropriate government safety entity. For what it’s worth, his name is Merrill and the stay was October 31 - November 1.

One of the worst hotel stays I've had ever; barely worth $40/night, definitely NOT worth any more than that! My tip: shell out a few more dollars to stay elsewhere.

Here's all the things in order as I experienced them that I reference for my ratings:
- Location is the least of the issues as it's similar to everything else in Kanab, i.e., Kanab is small, and everything is close to everything.
- Parking lot was wide and had enough space to maneuver around.
- Front desk and room service were responsive and professional. They weren't charming/welcoming at all, very business oriented, get-in/out, address issue, move on.
- Room was clean although aged. Smell must have been alright because I don't remember anything related to smell.
- Room with two beds was small/snug when accommodating two adults and two kids. Not a lot of space for luggage within the room and bathroom areas combined. It worked but was annoyingly tight if we were all moving around.
- Not a lot of options to plug stuff into any wall power. Only found two plugs, one on each side of the room at the base of the bed, near the floor. No way to charge phone by lamp between beds. Luckily, I travel with a power-strip and was able to charge our devices on the floor.
- Mini-fridge in the room worked. It was placed in an awkward location and contributed to the 'tight' aspect of the room. Was probably placed there due to limited room space in general, or due to the limited availability of wall plugs.
- Coffee machine in the room was disappointing and made sub-par coffee. No tea or non-caffeinated offerings in the room.
- Beds were mildly comfy; although clean, they were stiff. Pillows were nothing special.
- Room was super noisy and disrupted sleep! They were mainly noisy due to the A/C. I stayed during summer nights and needed the A/C on to get to sleep, but it was LOUD. I tried both modes (on-all-the-time or only-on-to-bring-to-temp) and both made it extremely difficult to sleep; either constantly loud or BOOM!-loud when it starts up every 10 minutes or so. I ended up turning the A/C off and opening the bedroom window wide open to let in the cold desert night-air. This eventually worked as the temperature dropped outside and it ended up being less noisy than the behemoth sound of the A/C. However, this wasn't a fix as we still had disrupted sleep because the neighboring business had a creaky metal A/C that was squeaking and popping all night! Cannot stress that we had seriously horrible sleep, which made it difficult to do anything (hiking, exploring, driving) the following day as we were all tired.
- Walls seemed barely thicker than paper thin as I could hear others talking in the room next to ours when I was laying down. Additionally, any thump, whack, or bump on their walls in the room next to ours were profoundly noticeable in our room (even with our TV and loud A/C on).
- Bathroom and shower were clean and nothing stuck out beyond size (on the small size, but not a problem).
- Trying to watch the TV was annoying. The TV was small, high-on the wall, had poor image quality (noisy image), and there were only a few channels to watch; everything else was green/no-signal.
- Breakfast was severely disappointing and basic. Coffee was basic, nothing to celebrate. There were NO fruits or proteins offered and choices were limited to severely disappointing and barely satiating carbohydrates: waffles, cereal (frosted flakes, raisin bran), white/wheat toast, small and barely palm-sized muffins, machine-based juice (apple, orange, cranberry).
