First, let me tell you about all the good things. Customer service was amazing, very courteous and kind and answered all of our questions. Secondly, the decor was one of a kind. Finally, our french fries were off the hook and crispy the way we like them! We also ordered a cheese steak sandwich, and it was not very good. The meat was bland and cool, the roll was soft, but not toasted. So it put a damper on the meal. Overall might’ve been better if we had chosen something else.

Disappointed. Dry over cooked burgers that took WAY too long to get. We ordered, took a seat. Couple more people followed suit. Staff suddenly started telling customers coming in they were closing (1 hour 40 min early on a Sunday night) and actually turned paying customers away. Locked the front doors with like 12 of us still inside. Food came out very slowly, to the point the guy apologized a couple times for the amound of time it was taking (they were 10 orders behind based upon numbers being called). No idea what was happening behind the scenes...but it isn't normal for a successful business to turn away money during operating hours. The business is actually split into two places, separated by an internal door: we were on the non alcohol side. The alcohol side (Bun Huggers LOUNGE) appeared to still have the OPEN lights on when we got to the car. That side looks like it would be a strip joint from the outside, especially when paired with the name. Is it? No idea! But I bet their burgers suck, too. Lol

The fiesta burger was delicious. The charbroil texture was great. Not too moist and not too dry.
This is on the pricier side to note, but expect quality.
Alejandro, the cashier was also knowledgeable about the menu and gave good recommendations.

This place used to be my absolute favorite hamburger joint. I don't know if it's under new management or they decided to change the whole menu, but that's exactly what they did. The burgers used to be larger and charbroiled, which gave an amazing smokey flavor. Now it's like any other plain burger anywhere. They also now put some kind of sweet and nasty sauce on it to make it have flavor, super gross. They also used to cut their own fries, which is delicious by the way. Not anymore. Now they are frozen and fried garbage. We also used to be able to put whatever toppings and I kinda get that after covid and all, but at least they could have set it up like subway and still be able to get the toppings you want. So disappointing. Especially spending like $50 for two people and you just get run of the mill food now.

Sad to see another Flagstaff classic ruin the old school atmosphere - you don't get to build your own burger anymore. The fixin's bar is gone. The new owners should have embrace Route 66 nostalgia rather than attempt to compete with In n' Out or Habit. They didn't understand how to deliver consistency with the Flagstaff labor force. We would come here for a perfectly grilled patty we could dress up ourselves, but I'd rather go to Culver's for consistent burger delivery and tables that are truly clean. Looks like the business is struggling. Sad to see an old Flagstaff establishment go under because "new owners" needed to make changes.

Food was really yummy.
Although i was very disappointed on how long it took for us to receive our food.
We had order after order receive their food when we had ordered before those people.

I’ll come back again and give this place another try!

First time in that place. Went there recently. Ordered a standard hamburger, I thought it was fantastic. I’ve eaten at other establishments in town and I feel this place competes on par with their peers. Bartender was very friendly and attentive. I was there on a not very busy night, I can’t really comment on the atmosphere.
One of the patrons even said Happy New Year on my way out.
