Dumplings were good. The spring rolls were alright, but more breading than filling... Chicken was great with a good crisp but very thin. Sadly the ramen roodles were a bit undercooked and too flour/starchy tasting. It overshadowed and ruined the flavor of the broth.... which really killed the dish. My husband got the Mic Drop and he really liked those noodles.
Overall was decent but overpriced for the quality and taste.

Cozy spot in downtown Flagstaff with fantastic flavors. Definitely recommend the chicken wings and any other dish with beef.

A handful of indoor tables options, and a couple of outdoor seats.

It's not the best, but not the worst. Everything was so spicy. No where did the edaname say spicy. Just steamed and salted. Would have not ordered. The noodles were way undercooked and were very sad. The egg was cold, which tasted weird. Two soups and the edaname came to $40+, which was not worth it.

The broth and gyoza were great. Maybe they were having an off night. Service was okay, left us alone, and only came over to give us the check. Just try at your own risk.

Our dinner at Sosoba tonight was an absolutely horrible experience. We ordered bao buns and Karaage chicken as appetizers, 2 katsu ramen, and one kids ramen.

To start, we got our bao buns first. 2 of the 3 bao buns were burnt on the outside, our children were very hungry so they did eat those. The karaage chicken came out at the same time as one of the ramens. The karaage chicken was burnt to a crisp. We sent it back immediately. The one ramen that was brought, we asked what type of broth it was (my husband and i ordered different broths but same ramen type). The server seemed confused, then just guessed the tonkatsu broth, so my husband took it as his. We waited another long while for the other katsu ramen and kid ramen. When they finally arrived, not only was the broth and basically everything in it cold. The katsu chicken was burnt as well. That's also when we realized that the server before had guessed on the broth base. My kids liked the kids ramen, so there were no complaints there, but of the 5 things, only 1 was acceptable.

A total disaster of a dinner. We did mention the issues to the servers who told us that the cooks were having issues in the kitchen, which is why we had so many issues with our food. The manager attempted to correct as he thought was best, but in the end, we still paid $40 for multiple burnt dishes and food left untouched. Not much can be done to recover from such a disappointment.
Just wanted to add that on the way out, someone was complaining about having egg shells in her ramen.

Small, so some may not like the seating layout but to say it in a nut shell, you are not there to eat the tables and chairs. Great food, attentive service and cooking station open for you to enjoy the process, if that’s a thing of yours. Highly recommend as we “Drive for Ramen” and the food was A+!

I had the mic drop and I can’t even call what I ate ramen, because that would be an insult to ramen. The only singular good bite was the chashu which was decent. It also took 35 minutes for our two bowls of ramen to come out. The karaage was too salty and a bit burnt.

Literally the worst vibes in flagstaff that I know of. The place just feels off. Simply off. And you can tell the workers there don’t care about the service nor the way they make people feel who come in there. Pretty much everyone I’ve talked to agrees about this place. And the food is totally mediocre, you can tell they don’t source well and everything about the atmosphere is crammed with music that’s too loud. My main gripe is with the people working there though, every single time I’ve went in there I felt so uncomfortable and couldn’t wait to get out. If I could give it zero stars I would.
