Pro tip: The truffle & Swiss is an almost unbelievably delicious burger! Seriously one of the best burgers. Coarse ground beef, perfectly seasoned & cooked, accompanied by stellar fries (side of truffle aioli). The cook responsible has serious skills! I’d drive a day just for that burger. Beers are muddy, muddled and almost lazy in the brew execution. I mean they’re fine, but no where near where they could be. I went to the cocktail lounge side and was one of two customers, that was a bit of a hack as the other side was v busy. Bar was seriously stocked with choice. I’ll come back to sample the menu some more.

There’s something about going to places like brew pubs or pub grills in places like Flagstaff that doesn’t ever work for me. Usually they get pretty good reviews, but something is often lacking. I don’t drink, so maybe I am missing out on that part of the experience. As for the food at Historic Brewing Company, it was not very good. It started with the loaded fries, which had an offputting, congealed cheese topping that was described as beer cheese. Not to mention that they were cold. I’ve had beer cheese before, and what I spotted on these fries was either directly from a can or a substance that was very old. We also got jackfruit tacos, which were soggy and overpoweringly sweet. The fried chicken sandwich was fine but nothing special due to a lack of seasoning in the batter. I can see from the other reviews that I am in the vast minority, but I was very disappointed in this place and its food. I am done with trendy local pubs.

Great food and great service! Our group of four sat inside and had a total blast. All the staff were incredibly nice to us, our food came out quickly, and it tasted fantastic. I highly recommend the Vortex Salad with chicken—delicious!

A small detail that made a big difference was the music. It was at a perfect volume where you could hear and enjoy it, yet still have a conversation at a normal level.

10/10 would go again

Love the atmosphere of this place. Came in for lunch but wish I didn’t have so much to do that day that I couldn’t stay for a drink. The bar looked pretty awesome and would have loved to hang out there for a little while. The food came out fast and tasted great all around. Drank me an old fashioned root beer. Delicious!

Awesome little joint. No table service, you order at the register and they bring your food to you. We had the Truffle Mushroom Swiss Burger and the Chicken Sandwich. Omg that truffle mushroom burger was amazing!! Huge selection of beers to try! We had a flight of 6 (Piehole Porter, Party Pie Porter, Hefe, Blueberry Wheat, Amber, and the Mango). My personal favorite was the Piehole Porter. Worth the visit, highly recommend 👌

Dog friendly was a plus. Sour beer was ok but missing that tangy bite I like. Wings were good. Yummy salad. The tables were a little wonky so be cautious. Cool area. Pay to park...plus tax to park. Might not be affiliated with the restaurant but I thought that was super odd. Pretty sure I pay enough in taxes. Wait staff was friendly 😉

Picked this as a place to eat whilst in Flagstaff and really glad we did. It came up as a place with vegetarian and vegan options. And they're good.

The jackfruit tacos were loaded! And the squash chilli was very filling, if a little mild.

Didn't drink any of the alcoholic choices: driving and not much of a drinker any way. But the bar service was excellent for when ordering the food and fumbling through ordering soft drinks.

Sticker shock when I got the bill. Shared an order of loaded tots. One hamburger, 2 chicken sandwiches, 2 drinks. $125 with tip. This was for 3 people which brings the experience to $40 per person for bar food. Nothing extravagant. The burger was ok. Chicken sandwiches weren't even on par with Chick-fil-a. I don't think the hot toddy had much whiskey in it either. On the bright side, tots were good and atmosphere is nice. We would have stayed longer and ordered more drinks but the bill was already crazy high for what we were getting. Only stopped in because The Lumberyard had a 2 hour wait. In comparison, our next 2 meals combined (lunch taco spot in Sedona $65 and dinner 3 pizzas from Fat Olives $60) were the same price as one meal here....and better quality on top of it. I've eaten in plenty of cities big and small all over the west coast and understand the current inflation situation. But this was a bit over the top.
