I am so happy when I find authentic food. Classic schnitzel and spaetzle just like in Germany. The owner is sweet and I'm happy to learn she's been in business here over 20years. Love me a delicious and humble little gem like this, will definitely be stopping by again. Plus, they got my go to vitamins which I've only ever gotten in Germany.

We dined in for a late lunch/early dinner.
We tried the sausage platter which came with 3 different types of sausage and a side of kraut. I'm not a kraut gal but my husband ate it all happily and Said it was slightly sweet, warm and fresh. The sausages each had different flavor but all were tasty.
We also tried the Pastrami sandwich on the French bread. The bread was soft and warm with a crunch crust. The veggies were fresh and the meat flavorful. The kind of food you savor. My husband tried the carbonated water which he liked and I had the iced tea which was a nice mild black tea.

For dessert we tried the apple blueberry streusel with vanilla ice cream and whipped topping and a tall slice of cheese cake.
The cheese cake was creamy light and rich with a hint of lemon flavor. The streusel was warm and comforting with sweet delicious flavor. The crust could have used a little crisp but it was still very good.

Angelika was friendly greeted and seated us and took our order. It wasn't too busy but there were other diners. We were tempted by all the chocolate and other goodies on display as well.

Overall a delightful first visit.

A classic, homey German delicatessen with a daily menu, and very friendly service. For vegetarians there is a very good vegetable-cheese sandwich on rye; I'm sure the other meat options are all excellent. This is also a good place to pick up some marzipan and Manner Schnitten.

My boyfriend is from Germany so he and I enjoy visiting any German restaurants that we come across. We had taken a trip to SV and wanted to try all of the German places that we could. Angelika’s was our first stop since it closed a bit earlier than others.

I liked that the atmosphere felt like being in someone’s home. All the way down to the table cloths and possible shower curtains dividing each booth. There were several other customers when we came in and only the owner serving everyone. She was very friendly, tried to help me with my German word pronunciation, and attentive as well. My boyfriend and I enjoyed looking around at the pretty big selection of items that are in the shop part of the restaurant too.

As for the food, I ordered paprikaschnitzel and he had a schnitzel sandwich. I wasn’t a huge fan of the paprika sauce on my dish (I hadn’t had it before) but the schnitzel itself and potatoes were good! My boyfriends’ sandwich was tasty as well. Neither of ours was dry and I felt like the portion sizes were good. I hope to go back on our next SV trip!

We tried this place for lunch while down in the area visiting. Very small restaurant area but very good food and service. It is very quaint like being at someone's home. The owner speaks German and is very friendly and helpful. The food was wonderful and very delicious. We bought many items in the grocery side. We will return again. Very clean as were the restrooms.

Angelika's is the place to go for good German food. We drive down from Tucson just to have lunch there. Never been disappointed with anything I've ever had. She carries all kind of goodies from Germany. The cook behind the scene is excellent. Looking forward to my next trip to Sierra Vista.

Never disappoints. The spicy curry wurst is excellent and I always have a cup of goulash. Highly recommend both!

Staff was excellent and patient with our child who wanted to try some German candy. My wife and I were army brats, both in Germany as child. We will be back!
