Horrible........
Our experience has definitely been the worst one ever.. trust me, keep looking.
Old, nasty, bathtub chipping, falling apart. Nasty carpets. Construction during our stay all the hallway walls and lobby walls torn down. Breakfast was disgusting scramble eggs floating in water, nasty old sausage and toast. THAT'S IT FOR BREAKFAST. no creamer, no salt. The workers are super sketchy, same with the location. There's like 10 other hotels like 1 to 2 blocks away... DO YOUR SELF A FAVOR KEEP LOOKING.

I had low expectations and was not disappointed. Service was the best part of the stay. This is an older property and looks like it. My room smelled awful, like pet urine, and the floor was very stained. No water pressure in the 1980’s shower and the toilet has stains that may never go away. Location was the reason for the choice. I did my best to stay away until I had to come rest and clean up. The desk person let me know that they just bought the property 2 months ago. I sincerely hope they can clean it up fast because I cannot recommend in this condition. Photos attached

Not a great experience with this Choice Hotel. The breakfast/kitchen was a big disappointment along with the cleanliness of the hallways/stairways. The manager was very nice but when I would report problems to him, it was obvious his concern did not translate to ACTIONS. EX. We needed more towels, he said they didn't have enough to accommodate a FULL HOTEL, REALLY!! EX. The water, coffee, and fruit drink dispenser was broken. My suggestion was to fill a pitcher with water and put it on the counter by the pitcher of milk. His response, "You can just go down the hall to the water fountain until the repairman comes, hopefully tomorrow". REALLY? Another suggestion, "Mix up some orange juice". His response, "Like I said, hopefully the repairman will be here tomorrow." Again, REALLY? GUESS WHAT? The repairman didn't show "Hopefully tomorrow!" Was I Surprised? NO!! I mostly felt bad for the older couple I heard complain to the manager about the drink dispenser, no coffee, juice or water. However again, there was milk in a pitcher though. Enough, I'm done. Just not a great example of the Choice Hotels I've stayed in!

They are redoing all the rooms and are trying to make it a much cleaner hotel. I was sent to a room that had somebody working in it so I had to move to another room. Then when I went into the bathroom someone had stuffed Bunches of toilet paper into the toilet and when I tried to flush it the toilet came to the top. They did come right away and fix it just don't understand how there was so much toilet paper in there in a supposed clean room.

Positive: The room was very clean, nice hot shower, and plenty of towels provided. Staff were all friendly and helpful, plus the included breakfast was great! I always appreciate those extras. Negative: The hot tub was cold, but I had not expected there to be one anyway so it was nice just to stick my feet in and watch the sunset.

1st room had no hot water, assigned us new room with no microwave. Went down for breakfast in the morning and juice machine was broken, pancakes machine was out, toaster didn't work, no decaf coffee. Kitchen help was sitting in the dining area talking and not refilling the food that was out...what?!?! What the heck are we paying for?!?! This place was an absolute joke...very disappointed!!!

All I can say is I’m very disappointed and disgusted with the staff and the rooms here. We first got here very late at night but had already had the room booked and when we got into our room we had found it hadn’t been properly cleaned by anybody after already having it booked for 2+ hours giving them proper time to clean if they had needed to. We found gas station cups hidden behind the curtains, un-wiped/unkempt dresser top, and somebodies hair tie in our shower. Not to mention the unbelievably nasty floors along with many other small things that after everything else don’t even matter. We thought we would have a better experience the next day when we went to the as advertised “free continental breakfast” and got there an hour early just to be sure that we could get a good fill of what they had to offer seeing as we had a hungry kiddo with us. We got there and they had absolutely nothing left and still asked us for our meal tickets that had been given to us to prove we were staying there, all they had was toast. We had mentioned something to the front desk saying it was an hour earlier than they were supposed to close their breakfast area and they mentioned that “don’t worry, it’ll be better tomorrow. We’re undergoing management change so it’s not our fault” Looking at us as if we were crazy for even being remotely upset. We talked to them with respect and we spoke calmly and they met us with rudeness and looks of disgust. I’m very disappointed in this hotel and personally do not recommend anybody to stay here if you want to be treated with a smidge of decency.

Room unclean ice bucket was gross had to clean our of black substance before we used a bag to get ice. The handle in the sink came off had a hard time getting it turn off. Tv remote barely works and would allow use to change channel or turn off correctly. The bed leaning against the headboard would slide off the bed and knock pillows to the ground. Called front desk for sink handle and remote 1 hr later still nothing, no help nadda. I figured considering the area it would be rough but this is disgusting -stains on walls and carpet just never had an experience like this.
