We stayed here one night in our RV. We do not have Good Sam but they do offer a 10% discount if you do.
Everyone is extremely friendly, we used the hot tub and showers after which was great. It was very quiet at night, even being so close to the highway.

I just have to say what a disappointment and extremely poor customer service!!! I was hung up on just because I complained that they wouldn’t allow RVs older than 2010! This is absolutely absurd! My RV is in excellent condition. And they don’t even put it on their website that you must have an RV 2010 or newer! I’m sorry folks but not everybody is filthy rich and can afford to buy a new RV every 10-15 years! Then to be hung up on!!! And on top of that it was just going to be for 2 nights to visit and celebrate my brother-in-law’s 70th birthday! It’s not like I was going to be a permanent resident. This is the worst customer service I’ve received my entire life and I’m 60 years old so there you go! You are losing so much business by being prejudiced! WOW! 😡

Came into town to visit family for a week. Nice to find a place that doesn’t cost a fortune! I mean after all it’s a space to park an RV, not a hotel! We will be back! It’s affordable & nice!

We pulled in and the office was closed for lunch, and everything we needed was in a basic. The camp host then came down and introduced herself and we checked in a few hours later.

Park is like the original Sun city by DelWebb, and only be 50 we were young and welcome. However we shut down by 9PM and so did the park which was great.

We were concerned about about security given what is now metro Phoenix, but didn’t have any issues and seemed the administration was quick to resolve any oddities.

Few tips: Trash pickup is Tuesday and Friday mornings; free ice(it is great filtered ice), free coffee (i think all day). DVD / Library, covered pool was very nice.

We will certainly book again.

We love this 55 + RV Resort. The location is ideal for exploring the entire valley. It's close to shopping and restaurants. The pool, pool area and restrooms are very clean ! The staff works hard to maintain the park like grounds and friendly atmosphere. There are many activities you can enjoy including live music events, pickle ball and bingo. I've traveled across the country a number of times over the years and always come back to Desert Shadows.

Awful experience. Terrible ownership; like an HOA on steroids. You're not allowed any family visits. Save yourself an enormous amount of expense and heartache and cross this place off your list.

The sites are gravel, pull through, full hook up, wide open, which is good for satellite reception.
Mostly residential park model housing.
It is hard to find since it has almost an invisible sign outside the park so look out.
Friendly management.
It is plain and simple.
It has a pool.
