Had a the delicious Wrangler Burger and Fries for a late lunch here, yesterday. Read through a bunch of reviews this morning before writing mine. I noticed a significant number of reviews from people with only 1-2 reviews, and place no emphasis on these.. as they are usually from people with a vendetta ! The review from Ryan Sutherland, the truck driver with issues because he was not allowed to overnight with his Semi-Truck in their parking lot. (no one owes you Free accommodations Ryan). <><> I could see that the common denominator of most of the reviews was SERVICE, and can agree with that summation. At 3:00 in the afternoon, Mary's Cafe not busy, and even though there were 3-4 young ladies working, it took several minutes before one of them greeted me with a menu. +++ I did get a chuckle when she asked me what I'd like to drink, and I asked her if I was far South enough to get "Sweet Tea". She said sure, then a moment later, held up sweetener packets and said I could make it as sweet as I wanted !! I turned her down and opted for water. <><> About twenty minuted later, my waitress brought out this Giant burger and huge order of fries ! I'd never had a burger this tall, and could not formulate a plan of attack.. so just dove in ! Pretty sure that it was the best-tasting burger that I'd ever bit into !! But the method of attack also delivered a shot of BBQ sauce into my nostrils !!! But worth the damage.. and the Fries, so good ! I'm a big fellow, but this meal could have easily fed two people. <><> back to my waitress.. after bringing out my food, she never offered to refill my water, she never asked me how the food order was... even though she and another young lady were just feet away, wrapping silverware. So.. therein supports the overall complaint of service in these reviews. If the owner were able to properly train and motivated her wait staff, it would no doubt make a huge difference in feedback! ( It was not based on merit, but knowing the struggle for low-income folks.. did tip $20 on a $19 check).

Phenomenal Hamburger and Fries. Absolutely delicious. They actually have several seasonings they offer for your fries. Plus you have about 1000 combinations available for your hamburger. The hamburger itself was absolutely mouthwatering delicious. They obviously use extremely high-quality ingredients across the board. It’s the funny these great places you discover on the road as a truck driver. This is a gem! The customer service was spectacular, and they have a great sound system for karaoke on Saturdays. All the employees were smiling, and the patrons were just as happy as me! Yes, I will be back!!! Thank you guys so much!!!

I hate not giving Mary’s five stars as I’ve been coming here since 1972. We have always had the best food and the kindest and most efficient wait staff. Today was different. When we walked in the door our waitress was having a public argument with another waitress over whose tables where who’s. This was something we did not care to hear as customers. I would say that 99% of the time, you will get an amazing meal and superb service. But not today. Our plump waitress with long hair and a wart in her nose took 20 minutes to take our order and that was after asking if we could order. For some reason that set her off. She spent her time playing on her phone. When the breakfast finally came out more than 45 minutes after we walked in the door, it was cold. When we asked if it could be reheated, the waitress went ballistic.
Again, this being one of our favorite places, I hate posting this, but if we don’t, this will continue if I don’t tell.

This place is a real gem. For any trucker passing by stop in for a taste. No rush service. Service with a cool smile. Good grill and home cooked selection. I recommend the brisket or the pork grilled cheese with fries. All baked goods are baked in-house so you know it’s delicious. I hope longevity and prosperity for this little spot.

We always make it a point to stop for breakfast or lunch. Everything is made home made. Portions are awesome and prices very reasonable. We haven't been to their happy hour but the sign says $3 wine, beer and well drinks!! This place is great!!!

I know that different areas of the country do things different. That being said, most areas bring your salad out to you while your meal is being prepared, like an appetizer to the meal. Mine came out with the meal, even after asking for it beforehand. And normally when you are served your meal, the server will come back in a few and check to see if your meal is okay or if you need anything. I was asked only after I was ready for the check and to go boxes. I went in expecting to get a slice of something sweet in a to go box for later, but figured I would just end it there. A box for the salad that I was no longer hungry for and one for my leftover steak and fries. (Ground round steak, with onion and mushrooms. And apparently brown gravy, which I didn't recall that being on the menu or I would've asked them to leave it off and the advertised fresh baked bread, well, not sure what happened there but I am not that into bread with my meal most of the time anyway, so package rolls were fine). I would stop again if passing through, but would hope for better service, and I know to ask about every thing that could be "different" than what I might be accustomed to, or not expecting. I loved the fries by the way!!

Stopped in here while passing through for a bite to eat. We walked in and were told we could sit anywhere, which was nice. We chose a table by the window. Our waitress came to our table, and we asked how her day was, and I'm guessing she didn't hear by the lack of a response. I was craving a milkshake, but she said they were out of ice cream. The drinks were nice and cold. Our order was correct and our food came quickly. My party said their burgers were good, and fries were plentiful. The chicken tenders were pretty good as well. My only complaint would have to be the condiments. The ketchup tasted bad, as if it were old. The brown gravy tasted very bland as if it came straight out of a jar or can. The ranch was very runny as if it had been watered down or is just a cheap brand. I really loved the decor and the music was at a good level. Our meal was pretty average, and the staff were quite impersonable.

Place isn’t that nice. Cant comment on the food because they took 30 min before they even tried to take our order. And the table next to us took their order when we came in. And before she asked us she re asked them for their order( she never turned in their ticket). Side note we got iced teas and they were 4$ each and she still charged us when we asked to cash out.

Save your time and money and go somewhere else. For example the coffee shop across the road is super nice, cheap and fast.
