Perfect location in historic, rustic lodge setting. Literally right on the rim of the Grand Canyon, steps from the rim trail. Went in early February so prices were very reasonable, crowds were low and weather was amazing. This lodge was a great value for the money. Only complaint--needs to have a mini-microwave in the room. This would allow you to do a little food prep since there is a nice grocery store in the Village, or re-heat left overs from restaurants. There is a single cup coffee brewer and mini fridge in the room. I was in the Powell Lodge. Its older and rustic but that is exactly why I loved it. Staff on site were super helpful, from check in to the room guy who was kind enough to get me an extra blanket and take away my food trash for me. I would definitely choose this spot again.

We had a long drive to get to the Grand Canyon and when I arrived I was tired and grumpy. Check in was quick and easy and check in staff friendly and gave good advice. We walked through the check in area and walked out to the most fantastic view. Directly looking at the canyon. I was grumpy no more. You are really paying for the location here and I think it was certainly worth it. Our room was comfortable. It was just a basic room with toilet and sink but shared shower. Absolutely no problem with that. We were ideally positioned to use the shuttle to explore the rest of the park. We stayed for 2 nights and would have loved to stay longer. We had no problem with parking but I think this is a quieter time of year for the Grand Canyon, although there were still a lot of visitors.

I had the pleasure of staying at The Bright Angel Lodge in the Grand Canyon Village and it was truly a delightful experience. The accommodations in the main lodge were incredibly comfortable, providing a cozy and welcoming environment to relax after a long day of exploring the Grand Canyon.

One thing that stood out to me was the shared clean bathrooms. Despite being shared, they were well-maintained, spotlessly clean, and easily accessible, making my stay even more enjoyable and convenient.

The proximity of the Harvey House Cafe added another layer of convenience to my stay at The Bright Angel Lodge. I loved being able to grab a delicious meal or a quick cup of coffee without having to venture far from the lodge.

Overall, I highly recommend The Bright Angel Lodge for anyone looking for a comfortable stay in the Grand Canyon Village. The friendly staff, comfortable accommodations, clean facilities, and the convenience of the Harvey House Cafe make it a top choice for lodging near the Grand Canyon. I can't wait to return for another visit in the future!

Always a great time to spend time at the Canyon in February. Fewer crowds and the weather is great no matter what it's doing. The cabin with a view was stunning. You have everything you need.

The most spectacular views from the lodge. The rooms are nice and updated. My only complaint is the shared rooms and locked door with crack above door. It felt a little weird with the neighbor being on the other side of the locked door.

We were very fortunate to have a cabin room which was only about 30 yards from the rim of the canyon. The room was small, but serviceable with a mini-fridge and well-appointed bathroom. We weren't in it a lot, so we didn't really miss the fact that there is no microwave. We were able to make coffee and take it out and sit by the wonderful canyon views in the mornings.||My wife and I were thrilled that this came at the end of our 2½ week trip through Colorado, Utah, and Arizona. Though we had nice hotels, and beautiful views, it truly was "saving the best for last."||We highly recommend the shuttle service, which saves driving your personal vehicle all over the place.

I was lucky enough to secure a cabin at the last minute. I finished Rim2Rim and forgot to take a picture of the cabin. The bed was comfortable and the water was HOT! That was all I cared about. The walls are thin and I could hear people talking. But it wasn’t terrible. I ate in the restaurant and their food was really good. You can’t beat the location!

We had a one day trip to Gand Canyon in our schedule and we could make the most of it, thanks to the Brright Angel lodge. Four Stars as the lodging is very basic room which you can stay and sleep if you are expecting luxury having paid $200 to Xanterra.|Apart from that the lodge is right adjoining the Canyon so you can sit on the edge and soak in the views. Well connected to all points to see sunset / sunrise etc with convenient transport. Don't remomber much about what we ate. |The common toilets are clean and not a problem. The staff is helpful and you feel welcome straightaway.|Parking if yu are checking in by 3 is available and the trick is not to move your vehicle and take the park transport which is better..Just the one convenient cosy place to go to
