We found this place on Google, and so glad we did. It’s definitely the place where the locals go, and that’s because the locals know where to go! Portions are pretty ridiculous, fair prices, and good food. Probably best not to be in a hurry because it’s a small place so I think there were only two people working. I put it on my list of favorite places in the country.

Just had to stop at a place called "Steak n Cakes" off the highway just into CA. Delicious french toast & strawberries and the pancakes are fluffy, tasty, hot, and fresh. Grade A quality at this road side diner. Very happy with food and service here.
Second visit was just as delicious!

Fun place with old vintage tractors.
If you're lucky, the local vendors will be in the parking lot for a little shopping!

Plenty of parking for oversized vehicles. Customer service was great! I make my spaghetti with butter in my noodles and the sauce on top of meat sauce so it’s all over my noodles. That’s the only reason I gave my food 4 stars but the salad was great and the spaghetti was good! I’m a drive for a living and don’t cook it anymore so when she said they had it for a special I jumped on it. It was all you can eat and I didn’t even finish my first bowl because I filled up on my salad first! The ranch dressing was great! Not many places have good ranch dressing so it’s great when I can fully enjoy the salad with a good tasting one! Would definitely come thru again and try other items on the menu!

Parking was crowded. Easy entry and exit.

Lots of decorations to view while waiting.

Seating was quick. A slow start to order then drink orders were taken and delivered in a timely fashion. Food order was taken and delivered hot, fresh and delicious.

Wait staff were slow on drink refills and had to ask for condiments as the container was empty on the table.

Overall a pleasant experience. I will return when in the area.

Our waitress was very nice. The food was not that good and the atmosphere was sketchy. This picture is of a shelf unit next to the front door. On it are clean containers and jars but not the right place to store used containers.
