We are from North Central ID on vacation in the area. We were looking for a place to spend a month with horses after retirement.
Cowboy Doug allowed us to look around. Really nice stable facilities and RV hookups. Dry camping, too. Comfortable partially covered horse runs. He provides feeders and water buckets. Steel pole corrals, nice tack room, wash rack, hitching rack. He butts up to BLM land, and within 1 hour, there are many amazing areas to ride.
All the campers have been regulars for several years. Really nice folks.

We’ll run well thought out impressive destination. Great facility for horses and picturesque for camping. Doug managed things with safety and comfort in mind and is very knowledgeable on the best way to get it done. Trails for horse camping and arena and round pen, long term tv spots on upper elevation with scenic views. Thoughtful accommodations. Highly recommend

I am in awe of this special place that caters to horse people and their horses! Wow! It's proprietor is Doug Evans, who sees to everything from hand leading you in here, having the pens all ready for your horses, and for you and helping you get settled in. He is so very accommodating, friendly, kind, considerate and more and his facility is second to none. It's a very clean, well thought out, livery, with everything you could want. It's so very peaceful and relaxing with the most beautiful of sunrises and sunsets! The large arena is incredible and a great place to work a horse. The horse trails on Doug's property going onto 13,000 acres of BLM land with the old stagecoach road and mines, are like going back in time and go on forever with l9ng horn cattle, mule deer and more! Truly a magnificent experience, with mountainous peaks in the backdrop, a cute little bunkhouse to stay in and more! I absolutely love it here and I look forward to returning with my horses in the near future! Thank you Doug for having my horses and me here! It's been a dream come true for us all! I highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone I know. The surrounding history going back to the 1800's of OK Corral Wyat Earp, and Doc Holliday and the wild west is very special and educational as well!

Just 2 miles out of Tom stone this is a great place to stay! We had full hookups for our LQ trailer and large pens for the horses! The arena is large if you need it. Access to BLM lands and. Cowboy Doug the owner was extremely pleasant and helpful. We rode to petroglyphs, ghost towns, old mines, 3 brothers mountains and to neighboring Tom stone Monument Guest Ranch for the best Margaritas ever! Cowboy Doug is also a poet, so sitting around the fire pit is pretty awesome too

Fantastic place to stay in the tombstone area. We really enjoyed our stay with cowboy Doug on his working equestrian ranch. Definitely quite. Fhu sites no other amenities but I would certainly recommend that you stay here. Felt very welcome and excited to be able to get to pet the horses 🐎

Cowboy Doug was Great! Everything explained up front! Then anything you needed was accommodated!! Arena to ride in, land for a leisure ride and friendly atmosphere everywhere! Reasonable rates with peaceful surroundings!! Very close to Tombstone and all the historical sites ! Stayed in out living quarters and it was a quiet place!

What a great place! Scenic. Awesome sunrises and sunsets! We had a hook-up. Everything worked great. Conveniently located. We were in close proximity to lots of our day-trip destinations. Cowboy Doug is super personable! Highly recommend!!!!

This is a great RV park & livery. Well run, clean, good prices and cowboy Doug and his trusty sidekick Angela are awesome. We had a great time. Not crowded like the other RV parks this place is a gem of a find. Wide open, spacious with a gorgeous mountain backdrop and beautiful sunsets. I can’t recommend this place enough! We made friends with all the horse owners and loved visiting the horses (with the owners permission of course) several times a day. You don’t have to have horses to stay here. This is a wonderful place just minutes from downtown Tombstone.
