First off guys I want to personally thank you for a GREAT few days of memories even during a sad time! Your resort is hands down one of the coolest weโ€™ve been to in the US & we will definitely be back. From the front desk staff to golf courses nothing fell short of amazing. The views, room comfort, food, amenities & helpful staff were all exceptional. If anyone is reading this review wondering if they should stay here during their trip to Tucson do it. This place has everything you need whether youโ€™re with friends, a spouse, a family with children etc. Unfortunately we werenโ€™t there for vacation & instead to grieve the loss of a loved one, just being at El Conquistador Resort kept us happy & our minds off why we were there. Itโ€™s so quiet & the view from our room was unreal. We will definitely be back to stay here again I promise you that. See you guys soon, Smith/Velez party ๐Ÿ˜Žโค๏ธ

Beautiful property with a stunning view of the Santa Catalina Mountain. Staff was friendly. The room was renovated but still noticeably old. Very clean, comfortable bed, spacious. The shower head was underwhelming and contained low/no pressure with a high temperature. Hummingbirds gather in the morning near their beautiful array of flora and a birdbath.

We had a wonderful family stay at this hotel during Christmas time. This hotel is not as fancy as other Hilton resorts, but it has a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Lisa M at the front desk was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our visit, making everything go smoothly. We thoroughly enjoyed her recommended hiking trails and local restaurants. A short golf cart ride to the trail head was fun.
The room may need some updates but the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast and bar staff were friendly and attentive, adding to our delightful experience. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable. We can't wait to come back again.

My husband and myself came from PA to celebrate his 61st Birthday, hike the mountains and relax. This place is beautiful with the Mountain View's right outside the back areas. Rooms were clean, housekeeping very friendly and refreshed our room not once (we asked for garbage change but she also made our bed and gave us fresh towels) but twice during our 4 day stay. The morning breakfast was delicious with homemade huge omelets, green smoothies (delish) and wide variety of full breakfast items and pastries. Service and kindness were excellent! Flute playing @ 530 every evening was beautiful and so relaxing. Special special shout out to Lisa (dark hair, glasses) at the front desk for doing a very special favor for us that we greatly appreciated ๐Ÿ’– We were able to hike in Catalina State Park (so close and definitely a beautiful remote 5 mile hike and Saguaro National Park West within 30 minutes of the resort. We would highly recommend this place for the kind service! Thank you El Conquistador!

We spent last week at the resort. We were happy our room was ready when we got there as we were a bit early. The room was like a normal hotel room with a balcony. Building 4 that we were in was a short walk to the pool area and main building. We enjoyed the hot tub and cold plunge every day. The big pool in the middle was cold as the heater was not working. I was surprised at how quiet the resort was. Not sure if it was because of the time of year we were there-weather was low 60's. We didnt find out about the other pool until day 3 when we were there. But it was a long walk down a big hill so we never went to it. The food choices were ok. I will say the drinks and food were a bit on the spendy side, but it also didn't surprise me much since we were at a resort. ($14 for a cocktail or $16 for 6 wings) So we tried to go off site a lot to eat. We rented a car through the on site hertz counter. I booked ahead online as they are appointment only. If you want to take part in some of the exercise classes, you will need to book ahead. I was upset about not getting into one I wanted, even though I attempted to book ahead. *The highlight of our trip were the bellman who were wonderful and had great golf tips for my husband, and Angelika, who worked in the gift shop. She was so helpful about the area and gave us great recommendations about where to eat and what to visit. We chatted with her many times throughout our stay (we got her cell number) cause we trusted her expertise. * I felt some amenities on the the website were kind of deceiving, but still a great resort with more pluses than negatives. Oh and the view of the mountains right there were just gorgeous!!

The property is in a beautiful location but the hotel is desperate for a makeover. While the
public spaces have held up the rooms are downright shabby with torn curtains and stained carpet to boot. The team is great. The pool is beautiful and the bar is lovely. But spending the night is DEFINITELY not with the price of admission.

Stayed for 2 weeks and ate breakfast almost daily at the Sundance cafe. All of the staff were incredibly efficient, friendly and pleasant making the dining experience extremely enjoyable. The buffet was excellent in both food quality and choices. In years past we enjoyed the smoked salmon which was absent this visit. Additionally, the addition of a bran type dry cereal would be nice.|We would like to give special kudos to our server Edgar for being particularly nice. He is a wonderful asset to your staff.

I went to the spa here and had an amazing massage by Justin! The lady who showed us to the locker room was a bit perfunctory, so we had to go back and ask about the steam room and salt room. But facilities were great. I would recommend going on a nice day so you can take advantage of the outdoor salt pool. And order lunch before your service so its ready by the time you are done!
