I recently had the pleasure of staying at Baymont by Wyndham Saraland, owned and operated by Nil Patel and his mother, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm smiles and top-notch hospitality that made me feel right at home.

The rooms were immaculate—spacious, comfortable, and equipped with all the amenities you could ask for. It's clear that cleanliness and comfort are priorities here, and it made my stay all the more enjoyable.

The service was outstanding. Both Nil and his mother were attentive to every guest's needs, going above and beyond to ensure that every detail was taken care of. Their personalized touch and dedication to making sure every guest felt welcomed truly set them apart.

Lastly, the location of the hotel was perfect. Whether you're traveling for business or leisure, it’s ideally situated with easy access to major routes, restaurants, and local attractions.

Overall, I can't recommend Baymont by Wyndham Saraland enough. If you're looking for a place to stay where you'll be treated like family with impeccable service, this is it. Nil Patel and his mother have truly created a gem of a hotel. Looking forward to my next visit!

It was the worst hotel experience I have ever experienced. I had roaches in the bathroom and on the wall, nasty rusted tub, smoke smelling room. I had to ask for more towels because the other towels had stains on them. I booked through a 3rd party, I stayed in that room because I have been working everyday for the past 2 weeks I was deployed here for Hurricane Helene, I was tired. When I went to the front desk to tell them, the manager on duty said “so there’s nothing I can do” I said “so you are not going to even apologize or offer anything to accommodate or even come and see what I am talking about” and he said “no”. I asked for his name he didn’t want to provide it. Unbelievable experience. Then he said I don’t have to talk to you. SMH.

So I just want to make it known who he is and my experience hopefully people see the better options in the area. Don’t book here pay a little more for a better experience. Oh and the lady that checked me in that night was so kind. She brought clean towels to me and I didn’t see the roaches until afterwards. But she would have just moved me to another room. Which she did when I first got there, I saw 3 different rooms. All has extremely wear and tear, all had the same problem.

I would not stay at this property again. We stayed here as we evacuated from the recent storm. The hotel room smelled musty, and the bedding and everything was moist. The room was dirty, inside the drawers, the toilet, the shower. The breakfast was gross, not even my kids would eat it. The area the hotel is in was nice, and a convenient location. Lots of restaurants and amenities nearby

Stayed at the Baymont on the way to Gulf Shores.Friendly service. Comfortable bed. Breakfast was ok . I had gravy , biscuits , and eggs. Good location , several places to eat behind hotel , so you don’t have to get in the main traffic. Close to I/65 .This is about my 4th time staying here.

Would give it a 5 star, but they say breakfast starts at 6am - 9am. We went down at 6:30am and all the breakfast was gone and there was no one around to refill the empty breakfast containers. So we had to go to Waffle House and spend $31 for breakfast. But other than this, we had a nice clean cool room, friendly service and house keeping was nice. Yes, I would stay here again, I would recommend others to stay here also. 1 small thing going wrong don't make it a bad place to stay.

Would have been nice to have conditioner for my hair and tissue (Kleenex) in the bathroom. Also, the closet was not fully complete (staining on back wall) and no ironing board. Breakfast was so so and there were no napkins. All of these issues can and likely will be resolved.

Check in was fine. Carpet in the hallways was rolled up and not tight. Have no idea how elderly people haven’t fallen!! Room was ok. Humid and had ax unit on lowest setting all night and didn’t help much. Mold around tub and on ceiling in bathroom. We didn’t shower because of this. |Breakfast was ridiculous. Cold biscuits and nasty “eggs”, one sad bagel that no one came to refill. Cupcakes out for breakfast…. A pot next to the coffee that looked like creamer… no, it was water!! Poured it right in my coffee. After the breakfast that only my 6 year old ate, I was glad we didn’t try to swim in the pool. No telling what was in there. You get what you pay for I guess. Lesson learned.

There are three things that I expect when I pay for a hotel room in this order; 1. Clean room, 2. Stupid cold ac, and hot water. We had half of one, the room was fairly clean but had a very unusual smell. The ac was not hotel cold it may have gotten to 72 which for me is really unexceptable, I want to be able to hang meat in there. The water temperature was barely warm and the know to turn was not attached well. These are the things that are top priority for me as a paying customer at a hotel, I don't have to eat swim use the gym or be friends with the staff but that 400sqft is where my money pays for. The staff was nice I will give them that but the lobby and halls were hot the pool was green (4th of July weekend) and people smoke right outside the main doors which is really disrespectful. And the last thing, I went to make a waffle and after cleaning the waffle maker, i grabbed the spray and there were dozens of tiny bugs about the size of an ink pen dot. Not roaches just tiny bugs. This was on our last day after we loaded the car up. I guess when you are getting a cheaper hotel that's what you get. I personally will not stay there again
