We could not have been happier at the Arizona Inn. It added to our visit to Tucson in so many ways. The service was warm, hospitable and efficient. We enjoyed relaxing in the library with the freshly lit fire and the unmatched afternoon tea - Especially with the unexpected chilly weather. We never worried about our car because of the security truck that circled. Each day when we would return a lovely gentleman would open the door and greet us. The Audubon Bar was always a delight - breakfast or otherwise. We were advised to get a room with a patio. Perhaps not as important in winter. The suite we had was very spacious , private and very comfortable. We booked on their website which was great advice for the add-ons. I can’t imagine why anyone would stay anywhere else in Tucson. |It’s one of the nicest hotels I have stayed in globally without being large and pretentious. Look at all of my reviews - the Arizona Inn is just perfect!

What a wonderful place to stay at. It is near everything in Tucson as well as the mountains, yet once you are on the extensive, secluded grounds you feel as if you are in a mini paradise. We were there for 4 nights and had dinner and breakfast at the Inn - both delicious and served with the freshest ingredients with a large variety of dishes to choose from. The staff throughout was friendly, helpful and cheerful. Our room was large with a private, walled outdoor sitting area with a table/chairs as well as two lounge chairs. When we arrived home my husband realized he dropped his wedding band on our way out from our room. He was ready to buy a new one but called the Inn to tell them where he thought he dropped it. They called later to say it had been found and they were returning it to us!!! Who could believe that? The Inn also has a lovely tea in the afternoon with really delicious little sandwiches, scones and pastries - both sweet and savory and very tasty. I cannot say enough good things about the Arizona Inn as well as Tucson which is an enchanting place to visit.

The historic inn is beginning to show a little frey around the edges & furniture could stand some reupholstery BUT that’s why we’ve been coming here for 20+ years! The grounds are lush & calming, the library is beautiful. Our favorite room has a fireplace that we love to have on in cooler weather evenings & mornings. The bed linens are wonderfully soft. Tucson High Tea is served in cooler months in the afternoon in the library & an ice cream social is served by the pool in the warmer months. The Inn has a wonderful history!! Maybe be a little pricy compared to a typical roadside motel BUT you get what you pay for!!

This is a special place, in the same family for generations. The site itself is very beautiful and authentic. Wonderful swimming pool. Very well kept up. Old world feel. The staff is very nice, professional and welcoming.|My only down is the food. The breakfast avocado toast has almost no avocado. I saw that each day. Also, the bread is generic. There are excellent bakeries in Tucson! Too bad since the setting is so beautiful. Soon back with room service. And I still absolutely recommend this place.

Old world charm. It’s a classy and relaxing place that I would highly recommend. It’s not a corporate hotel, it’s such a nice change. My grandmother used to come and stay here for a month, and I can see why. Nestled in the heart of Tucson, you would think you are out on a remote ranch. The landscaping is immaculate, the service impeccable and the food in the dining rooms is excellent

I’ve stayed at the Arizona Inn 3 times. The first was in the early 90s for a family event.
My next two visits are more current. The latest, January 2025.
The Inn located in the middle of Tucson, in a beautiful neighborhood and not adjacent to a main road. The Inn predates the neighborhood. The Arizona Inn is quiet, cozy, and very personal. If you like big corporate hotels, elevators, long hallways, rooms that open to a closet on one side, the bathroom on the other side, and a breakfast buffet, then skip the Arizona Inn. It has none of that.
It has a quiet, cozy feel, gardens, patio room access, and great food. It is quintessential Tucson Arizona.

Heading to the Audubon Bar & Patio one morning, it was my intent to get a bagel and fruit. Seeing the Chef’s Burrito on the menu changed my mind. The tortilla was thin as a real tortilla should be and filled with perfect mixture of eggs, meat, beans, and served with the just the right amount of enchilada style sauce. The burrito did not get soggy from excess liquid, a sign of quality in my view. I could only eat about 80% of it, and that kept me from even thinking about food until past 2:00 PM, unusual for me.
One lunch, I enjoyed their excellent Rueben sandwich. It was picture perfect. I should have taken a photo.
Another day, the Beef Short Rib Tacos make also made a great lunch, in the photo, one taco is already gone.
One evening I had the quesadilla with chicken, it was made with thin tortillas and somehow the tortilla was flaking like Greek phyllo as I cut it into bite sized pieces. Beautiful, tasty, and filling.

One note, reserving your room directly with the Inn may be lower in cost than using a booking service. Compare rates.

I grew up and was schooled in Tucson, I still consider it my home town though I’ve lived away for over 30 years. Staying at the Arizona Inn when visiting makes my return just a little more special. I stay and eat there by choice.

I hosted a small dinner party at Arizona Inn--the food and service were outstanding. The great setting and fantastic weather made for a memorable evening. Working with Crystal was a pleasure and the prices were quite fair. I was impressed with every aspect of the event and recommend Arizona Inn without reservation.
