Recommendations for Potential Guests

For anyone considering a stay at Minsk Extended Stay, it's crucial to be aware of the mixed feedback reported on Google My Business. While some guests have praised the hotel's management, particularly manager Amanda, for her excellent service and handling of a difficult situation, others have raised concerns regarding security and property damage incidents. It's recommended to read through the reviews carefully to get a balanced view of what to expect.

Given the average opinion score of 2.4/5, it might be wise to inquire specifically about security measures and any incidents that have affected other guests. The hotel's response to a security breach, as described in some reviews, was notably contentious, leading to an uncomfortable situation for a guest. This suggests that the hotel's handling of property damage and guest complaints could be a deciding factor in your decision to stay.

Additionally, it's worth noting that despite the mixed reviews, the hotel seems to maintain its operation, indicating it might still offer value for those on longer stays in Tucson. However, potential guests should prioritize their comfort and security, especially considering the negative experiences shared by some visitors.

The manager Amanda is excellent no complaints about her.. I had to leave this place because someone broke into my room and stole some of my belongings and some money and the property manager tom wanted me to pay $500 for property damage I didn't do... Other residents were telling me other rooms were getting broken into as well So me and my kids left other than that no complaints. I only left because I ain't paying for something didn't do at all. Wish this place the best!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Minsk Hotel Tucson, and it was an exceptional experience.
The team at this hotel truly sets it apart; their professionalism and attention to detail made my stay incredibly comfortable and memorable.
The luxury of the hotel is evident in every corner, from the elegantly designed rooms with breathtaking views of the rolling mountains and hills of South West Tucson.
One of the highlights of my visit was the breakfast. The variety and quality of the offerings were impressive, but the standout dish was undoubtedly the Crab Eggs Benedict. It was perfectly prepared and delicious, making for a delightful start to my mornings.
I booked my stay through AmEx Fine Hotels & Resorts, which provided fantastic benefits, including a room upgrade.

I stopped by to check the place out. This place is SCARY!!!! Do not even consider this. Alot of the rooms have yellow stickers on the windows saying that they are condemned. I spoke with the security guard and he said that the place should be shut down soon. He made me aware that it is full of.bugs, rats and broken pipes just to mention a few of the issues. Noone was in the office but there were signs everywhere saying no refund. The price sounds good but don't fall for it. I took a drive there and it is AWFUL.!! I didn't stay of course just went to check it out.

Service Well I have never in my 10 yrs. Traveling with 100% of that time staying in a hotel have I ever seen the office close at 4 or 5 PM. But considering the whole back half of the building is under construction and limited guests I can see why they leave by 5. And if you need service there is a number to call. The ladies that are keeping the place together are doing a very good job.
Thank you Amanda ! I will stop inand see you again.

Worst experience in my life. I was put in a room with a board on the window also the bottom of the door there was a gap big enough that a rat could come and go. Found blue's also. And I was just getting in and swat and lots of cops on the mega phone for the room above me. Cops yelling for me to get in the room. Zombies in the walk ways and steps trash everywhere. It needs tore down!!!

Everything is horrible they put us in a room that has no lock on the door and it wouldn't shut unless you used the dead bolt that was on the inside. No TV, no fridge, no breakfast, no pool, no coffee.
They have absolutely disgraced the Hotel industries.

10/26/24. First I want to say the staff I encountered were truly nice and trying to do a good job. That is the only nice thing I can say.

It was a sold out weekend in Tucson due to several events. This was a booking off of Expedia and Priceline offered it as well.

At check in, I paid for the room. The rooms were not clean at time of check in and staff diverted people to come back in an hour. I was one of those people. I was actually gone longer but had a room key. When I got back at close to 11 pm. The room key did NOT work. The office said open but was locked. I was able to find staff outside and they said oh yeah, that is the room that door fob doesn’t work. Followed him to another room, that was not clean, he moved on to another room, not clean with holes in the wall.

I was asked to wait outside by the office while he sorted out a room. An hour later he said he had a room and gave me a key. While waiting I observed tons of homeless and drug addicts near the building. There are many homeless on the backside of the hotel right on the other side of the fence.

The room was on the back side of the building. It was one of the rooms he had tried earlier. The door had obviously been kicked in before and had a makeshift fix to the door frame. The room smelled like pee, a bed that was on a bed frame close to the ground with a fitted sheet, nothing else, no top sheet or blankets , the air conditioner was old and working hard, and the floors and walls were dirty. The bathroom was stained by dirt on every surface (meaning IF it was clean, it was impossible to tell).

I refused the room and requested a refund. I was told no. There are no refunds.

I chose sleeping in my car over sleeping there. I had traveled 18 hours to be here to see my daughter. Throughly disgusted that this was offer on Expedia and Priceline both.

If I could rate this facility a zero, I would. Minsk Extended Stay is not a good choice. I do not recommend.
