We have been eating here for 2 yrs now. It's almost the only reason we really go to Douglas; I live in Bisbee. The Food is AWESOME, The bacon wrapped shrimp is my favorite plate to order. The ground beef Tacos, fajitas and steak ChimiChanga are what we regularly order. You really get your money's worth in food. It was so good u forgot to take my pictures before I dugg in. There was way more shrimp on that plate than pictured 😃😅😏 Love the Authentic Mexican Coke's not the average soda. ❤❤❤❤❤

My dining companion is from Sonora, MX. and cooks her grandmother's recipes so she is extremely picky about eating in U.S. Mexican restaurants. She had the hard carne asada tacos and Fideo soup🍲 . She had nothing but rave reviews about her meal and mine as well. I had a torta sandwich with pollo frito and jamon con queso. Dios Mio! Que rico !.
Restaurant is very clean with Spanish/ Old world Mexican decor. The staff very attentive and kind. Locally owned and operated. Will definitely return!

Horrible service. Waitress took our order and never bothered to follow up. Someone else brought us our order. No one came back to provide further service. Perhaps the poor service was because the whole restaurant staff was sitting down having a pizza party. We had the flauta plates which does not justify the price for it. Flatuas were 2.5-3 inches for 3 of them. Also it is a family restaurant yet they have no baby changing tables in restrooms. For what they charge they should really step up the quality in both food and customer service.

This is the worst service I’ve ever had in my home town. It’s been 10 yrs since I’ve come home from the west coast. I walked in. No one even acknowledged my existence. Though other customers mostly the gringos got noticed, and acknowledge straight away. There was no signage to wait to be seated or seat your self. So I grabbed a seat hoping to make eye contact like the couple did just before me. They got greeted right away and as for me? Still and nada

I saw someone grab a menu way over at the register so I did the same. I Still couldn’t make eye contact with my primos from over the border.

No one bothered to look up and scan for new customers that hadn’t even been greeted.

So it’s off to Agua Prieta for lunch again. They always at least greet you when you come just to at least feel welcomed. Not sure where this group is from. For some reason I’ve noticed the paisas starting to provide poor service up and down the west coast all the way up the Pacific Northwest. Things were different 70’s 80’s, 90’s, early 2000’s

The atmosphere at this place is Disgusting!

This is my home town. It was never like this in the past. It was my First time here. I was waiting for my date too. Y agora me vale Madre a regresar a este sitio tan mal respetosa a mi raza. (Now I could care less at this disrespectful (to my ppl) and such poorly trained place). Where’s the social graces gone to?

Never again. Oh it was 2pm Xmas break on a Friday it was Not so busy.

If you read the review from a year ago , apparently another customer reported the exact same experience as Myself. So this rude behavior is not new. Management has ALOT of work to do.
