Firstly, this is completely different than the old 1906. It was relocated to the space under the conservatory and is A LOT bigger. Honestly, it may be the biggest fine dining restaurant in the area.

That said the food, atmosphere, and service were top notch. There was a slight delay in getting seated but they were incredibly apologetic and comped us a drink. The prices vary from reasonably expensive to VERY expensive ($85 prime rib). That’s said the food is OUTSTANDING, unusual and unique and is not for picky eaters. We chose the prix fix which came with 5 courses. From the salad made with ingredients from Longwood’s gardens to perfectly cooked duck to a mushroom shaped dessert that was AMAZING, we were not disappointed. We will definitely eat here again in the future.

The ambiance effortlessly blends elegance with comfort, creating a unique dining experience that's a feast for the senses. It's not just about great food; it's about the whole atmosphere. Truly a fine dinning experience. All our food was elegantly presented as well as had perfectly paired flavor profiles. The portions are certainly petite, however, each dish is meant to be savored and appreciated.

The cocktails were light and refreshing- and they didn’t skimp on the libations- each item we ordered was perfection on a plate.

Additionally, the beautiful views of the gardens, fountains, and attentive service- 1906, is worth visiting entirely on its own. Although this restaurant is expensive- it is worth every penny!

Ensure you make a reservation! We went on a Saturday night and were able to be sat earlier than our reservation time which was great! Our server was attentive and able to walk us through any questions we had about our meal.

The menus on their website are accurate and their drink list is solid. It's a great place to have a celebratory meal and if you're a Longwood Gardens member, show your card for a small discount off your meal!

A friend and I dined here today for a birthday celebration. We were seated within 5 minutes of checking in with the hostess. The location is stunning and bright with natural light. Our server, Molly, was welcoming and helpful throughout our meal. We were checked on but also given time to enjoy the food and conversation. One of the managers also stopped by to clear empty plates and asked if everything was up to par. Food was great and arrived quickly. The lobster dish was delicious but quite small. Luckily, after a starter, side, main, and dessert, we left full. Excellent espresso martinis as well!

We were not impressed with the snooty attitude of the employees or the food, especially for the price. We were walk-ins at around 3:30pm and stated that we only wanted to grab a quick appetizer or two to hold us over until dinner. The restaurant was quite empty at that hour, but we were told that all of their tables were booked and we had to sit at the bar. As I am pregnant at the moment, the bar was not ideal, but we took what we could get. The hostess had told us that the full menu was available at the bar and when we sat down, the bartender told us that she thought they were not taking food orders at that time. After some confusion and as I was clearly not there to just have drinks, they did allow us to place an order. We ordered the salmon tartare and crab cake appetizers, a water and a draft beer. The bill was over $50 and they were the tiniest portions we've seen in a long time. The crab cake was about the size of a scallop, extremely mediocre and did not have any lump meat in it. The salmon tartare was a tad bit larger, but also nothing to rave about. Although I will admit that the presentation was beautiful, as seen in the photos. The bartender attempted to ask us a question and then walked away without even listening to our reply and in the entire 30-40 minutes that we were there, not one of the many available tables was seated. Meanwhile, we observed the hostess insisting that those who came in had to wait for a spot at the bar. It's a shame, as the restaurant's ambiance is lovely, but not visible when staring at the bar, and the food and staff left us with no desire to return.

I can’t believe it’s both my husband and my first trip to the Long Wood Garden in the 35+ years in NY (well this is PA but we’ve been to Europe, Africa and Asia!)
We were seated to a window seat facing the fountain. The service and the food were phenomenal! The dishes were very special, chosen from local ingredients.
Without any knowledge before we sat down, we were at the right moment for the fabulous fountain show at 3:15!

Absolutely amazing!! We would have returned for dinner the same day if they were open. They're open for dinner only on certain days. The staff were very helpful and responsive. I made lunch reservations a month in advance, which enabled us to have a lovely table viewing the fountains. My husband and I enjoyed everything! My iced latte and salad were especially good! The pastry chef is an artist! Dessert is a must!
